Comments about Go Baby Go Stride-to-Ride Lion:

Purchased this lion for my daughter for Christmas (around the time she began pulling herself up to stand). Only 3 weeks later, she's walking behind it by herself! It's been a great learning tool for us and can't wait for her to grow with it and be able to use it to ride when she has the stability and motor skills. I wish there were a way to control how loosely the wheels roll however, as they can move pretty quickly on different types of flooring. It would be nice to be able to adjust this.

Comments about Go Baby Go Stride-to-Ride Lion:

Our son was cruising around 10-11months. He wasn't ready for moving objects yet. But then we discovered he loved pushing our tall cooler around the apartment. We used that for as long as we could [saving money], then a friend passed this Lion onto us when her son outgrew it.

Our son loved it! He liked pushing the nose for the music and petting the mane. He enjoyed turning it over and spinning the wheels. And of course, loved pushing it. Squealing all the way. We used it for about three weeks to get him confident moving forward then he started walking. He still liked using it because it gave him momentum.

I think we could have started with it sooner and kept it longer. But we passed it along to the next kid.

It's stable. Never worried about tipping over.
It's durable. Wheels get a little shot but doesn't hurt performance.
Can turn nose off or on.
Can sit on lion and push with legs.

My daughter absolutely loves her lion. She has been playing with it since she was 7 months and is now 9 months and is walking unaided. But now she is trying to learn the ride on feature. She already likes to sit on it and let her older siblings push her. Just have to wait for her legs to get a little longer.

My son is 13 months and he loves this toy. He plays with this toy the most. He walks all over the house with this toy forward, backwork, pushes it, pulls it and honks it's horn. I strongly recommend it over others!!!

My DS loved this when he was around 10mon and I think it really helped him learn to walk which he did at 13 months. He still runs behind it and picks it up now at 16 months.

This toy is cute and certainly interesting to kids. My issue with it is that it was too small for my son. Even though he was 10 months when he got it and was learning to walk, still he was quite tall for his age and he had trouble pushing it. He would hunch back a lot and consequently decided it was not worth it. So, in case your kid is tall, this is not a right toy for you.

Good for pushing not for riding

When my son was learning to walk he really loved this toy. He loved the lion and the music when you pushed the nose. However, now that my son is 21 months and he's running everywhere, he wants a toy that he can ride. Unfortunately, the wheels in the back run over his feet when he pushes so he can't really ride it fast like he wants. He still likes the nose, but he really doesn't use the toy anymore.

We got this as a gift for our daughter who is now 16 months. She was too young for it at first but once she could pull up on things she loved it and walked all over with it! She loves the noises and it's very cute and durable! Now that she's walking she either pushes it or rides on it, even though she only goes backwards! Great product.

Did not like as a push toy - no room for "normal" walk. At 12mos now, enjoys much more as a ride-on. Easy on/off and very stable.

This product is so great for our daughter. She is 10 months and loves to walk with this. The wheels are slow rolling, so it doesn't get away from her, which is important for us to have. A must for babies learning to walk.
