If I had wanted a shoulder bag I'd have bout one. This "convertible" bag is terrible. The straps go loosely through a hoop on the top of the bag and every time you want to put it on you have to fumble and wriggle around to get a bad sitting bag on your back.mIt is just not worth it. As much as I love the FP messenger bag this one missed the mark by far.
Everything else is perfect tho. It's just not a backpack. Too bad. :-(

We wanted a backpack style diaper bag and ordered this one but returned it within 24 hours. After putting all the basic stuff, the bag goes out of shape and it is impossible to carry as a backpack. So disappointed with this purchase.

I thought this bag would be wonderful because it has TONS of pockets, the outside wipe thing and lots of space. Then I put everything in it...it is the most uncomfortable backpack I have ever worn. The straps are only connected at one point (in the middle) not on both sides like a regular backpack. It pulled worse than a side diaper bag. It cut into my neck and shoulders. If you are looking for something that will help you back, this is NOT it. If you are looking for fashion, this might do.

I love all the pockets and the size is perfect. My only complaint is the straps don't stay in place so getting on and off can be interesting.

It's a nice bag, clean and simple with enough room, however I bought it since I wanted something that I can use as a backpack and it ended up not possible at all.

It is not a real backpack, there is only a small loop to enter the straps and create a backpake which is not comfortable at all.
There is no support and the straps are moving and changing size from one side to another

It's a good bag. Sturdy, reasonably priced, easy to wipe clean. Especially I love how every pocket is labeled so my hubby can also find things in there. And how it can be a sling bag as well as backpack.

The reasons why I don't use this bag more often is a matter of personal preference. Firstly, this bag is tall (instead of wide), so it doesn't have a lot of base to put stuff (you have to stack 'em up). As well the insulated bottle bag will only fit a 4-5oz bottle that is not wide-neck.

I use it only for short trips (e.g. grocery shopping, playdate).
