My son has no problem with sitting on this potty. He is so comfortable that he went potty without me even knowing it! He did play with a little in the beginning but I allowed him to do that so that he could get familiar with it.

My only complaint would be the need to remove the piece that covers the private parts in order to close the lid.

My son enjoys the music it plays when he goes and flushing afterwards. The size is perfect. This is better than the prince lionheart one i have which is ok but is square shaped which doesnt really allow for him to spread his legs as well as this one which ultimately results in less leaks.

We love how it looks like a real potty. WE started potty training young, around 1 yr old, so the other "potty chairs' just confused him. He knows this is a potty, and loves it. It's very cute and easy to use. I love how it also fits on our actual toilet seat, which is a huge plus for me. The only thing I wish is if it could double as a stool, as some others do. However, that would raise the price, so I'm OK with it.

This is the best potty ever! My son just absolutley Loves it. At first he was a little scarred of it cause his butt was to small, but we started training quite early. Never gave him the chance to play with it like a toy so he only knows it as a potty. We sit on the big potty and he sits on the little one next to us. He has gotten so good that he bang on the bathroom door and says pee, so we know it is time for him to go, He is 16 months old. Started putting the top part on the big potty the other day to see how he would react and he just lit up. He was so impressed that he could go on the big potty. The music encouraged him to get started and the top attaching to the big potty allowed him to grow with him after he knew what he was doing. The songs are so cute, just have to memorize and sing along.

Over all this potty is great. The sensor is good & bad for me. Since it doesn't sing unless your child goes pee or poo, you can't leave a little water in the bowl at all times. Leaving a little water in there at all times just makes it easier for the parents to dump out any poo. It's not too big of a deal for me though.

I would highly recommend prior to first time use, pour some water in there so your child can hear what happens when they do their business. Some kids can get startled if they have no idea.

I started sitting my son on this potty at 6 months old. He is now 11 months and everytime we sit him on it he pees/poops. He know exactly what it is for. He smiles so big once the music begins and even turns around to flush it. I think this potty looks so much like the real toilet that it won't be hard to make the transition. Great buy!

my 16 month old daughter loves the design of this "potty!" She lifts up the lid, sits down, does her "thing," gets some toilet paper from the side and flushes the toilet!!!! And we adore the music that plays when she pees/poops!

Bought this for my daughter when she just turned 1 she is 2.5 now and still considers it a toy, not a toilet...when i realized she was distracted by all the songs and whatnot i took the batteries out but it was too late...she doesnt want to pee on it because it would be like peeing on a toy...I should have gotten the plain ol cheap nothin special potty....may work for some kids but not mine

I spent a lot of time on line searching for a good potty and finally decided to get this one. I am very happy that I did. Believe it or not but I started potty training my son when he was 5 months old. He uses it every day. I do hold him while he is sitting on it, because he is too small and cannot even touch the floor yet with his feet, but he loves it and he pees and poops every time I sit him on it. He laughs and cheers every time it plays the music. He cannot wait to bang the cover after he is done. For some reason that's his favorite part. I do not know any more what the dirty diper is and my son is only 8 months old! This is the best potty ever and we proudly keep it in the living room where we spend most of our time!

My son loves this potty, it is a mini adult potty with the toilet paper holder, seat lift and flush handle. The best part is it sings a song when it gets wet. Whenever we use the restroom he follows us to use his at the same time. Because this potty is so much like ours he mirrors our practice of using it and he goes through all the motions with his own potty. Our son's care giver has started the training process and reads him potty stories while he's on it and explains to him he has to potty so it sings to him, then he gets to flush and put the lid down - he loves it! On his own yesterday he motioned to use it and and made his first pee pee in the potty ever and he's only 17mos!
