The new and improved Aquarium Tub has plenty of updates to a product that is already a proven winner because it grows with baby. The sling design has been improved to allow newborns to rest comfortably within the water. The tub basin has become deeper and provides a reclined position for baby to be bathed with our new contoured baby stopper tm insert.  The insert removes when the babies can sit on their own in a deep tub that has lots of room for play.  It still includes 2 fun tub scoops for baby to play with and mom to rinse.  And for mom - it's got a convenient hook for drying and storage.  With all the babies who've been in our tubs, you know this has been tested time and again before your baby takes her first bath.

          Comments about Aquarium Bath Center:

I was excited about this tub and on the up-side, my now six-week-old son loved being bathed in it since the hammock allowed his little body to be somewhat submerged in the water - keeping him warm and allowing him to splash.
On the downside, from day one I had a hard time keeping him seated in the hammock as opposed to flat - he kept sliding into the water and I'd notice his earlobes were in the water and I'd have to scoot him up again. It made bathing more manual labor than I'd hoped for. Then around week five - the hammock started collapsing on one side so my guy was sliding down into the water and off the side of the hammock. So at that point I was holding him in the crook of my arm the entire bath. Yesterday, I threw the entire tub out in frustration. I'm currently shopping for the divided euro tub I bought for her when she was a month old and used until she was over a year. Unfortunately, I lent it to a friend and another year later, she's still using it for her son.

            Comments about Aquarium Bath Center:

Started using it when baby was 1mo, with hammock. She slid down a lil bit, but no biggy - I'd rather pull her back up than having to use one of those tub where I have to hold her up all the time.

She started using the full tub with the anti-slip thing in the middle at 2 months. She absolutely loves it! She could kick and splash all she like without me having to hold her.

As for other comments that baby can slide down without the anti-slip piece, we can just buy anti-slip stickers and put it on the back rest. I'd rather do this than buy another tub, or use one of those tubs that looks like a deck chair where she won't be able to just sit straight up.

My baby isn't due for another 3 weeks but from the looks of it, my husband and I will enjoy using this tub with the newborn sling to bathe our little one!

My baby has LOVED this tub since we first put him in it (at maybe a month old-- perhaps a bit younger). He LOVES bathtime. In fact when we traveled we got one of those inflatable ones and he HATED it. In terms of it being slippery-- I totally disagree. You have to turn the baby around to be in the smaller section when he's in between newborn and infant. My little guy doesn't wiggle around or try to get up while in this tub-- which he does in all other tubs. I'm SO glad I got it.

                    Comments about Aquarium Bath Center:

I have the original and I don't see an improvement on the new version that is the main problem. While the insert for infants is great, the problem is when you can use it w/out it. The reclined back is not slip proof. It gets wet,of course, and very slippery. It's also not comfortable for the child at all. To prevent slipping and give some kind of comfort, for every bath I have to wet a small towel and drape it over the back . I would not recommend this tub. I've since seen other tubs with slip proof backs with more comfort.
