The swim diaper works good and I love that I can wash it. Why waste money on the disposable swim diapers. Only thing I don't like is that my son urinated in it and when I took it off all the pee spilled out onto my carpet. Next time I will take it off outside. Plus I can save it and use it for my baby.

I was a little nervous about a reusable swim diaper, but have been very pleased with this diaper and I will be buying a second one. The diaper is comparable to disposables but less bulky and certainly more cost effective. Not to mention it is super cute!

My son is 7 months first time we used Finis liked the fit even thou my son has chubby legs. Had no BM so can't tell if it holds.

We just used it for the first time onour 10 month old. We love it! It was a little snug, however. We'll probably go up a size the next time we buy.

I use these for swim class because a disposable swim diaper and reusable diaper are both required. Just had his first class and worked well. Super cute.

The product works okay for the intended purpose, i.e. to hold in stool. This may be why many people comment on the small fit - it needs to be snug to be effective, as long as it covers where it needs to. Swim diapers are not really designed to absorb urine, or it would be pointless to get them wet in the pool - they'd get too heavy. After my child had a really nasty b.m. I could not get the stink out so I ended up throwing out the affected swim diaper after several washes.

Parents should understand a swim diaper is only meant to restrict poo from get into the water. It is not meant to restrict or absorb pee, it can't otherwise it would absorb all the pool/lake water. This type of purchase is great for the environment and your wallet (reuse, reduce)!

Bought size Medium for my 5mo. old and wore diaper underneath. Maybe you don't need it with a diaper but thought it would be better just in case. But it's got great colors and travels well. Taking it off after diaper being wet, was so tight.

So I think I followed the advice of the other and sized up, they are perfect fit in terms of the tightness around the waist and around each leg. What I find a little odd is the width of the fabric in between his leg; the crotch area. It seems very narrow. It almost has a bikini type cut to it.

We take our little guy to swim classes and he wears a disposable swim diaper underneath this cover and diaper shows through a lot on either side of the crotch. It's probably not a big deal as long as no solids come out but so far after 2 classes, no Poo's to test how well they work!

What a cute swim diaper! When I first opened the package I thought, this little thing will not fit him. But it did! The elastic is stretchy but does not leave marks. We tested the diaper in the tub and it works good :)

First off, reusable swim diapers cannot be absorbent, or they would soak up the entire pool! Swim diapers are to protect the pool and it's occupants from fecal matter. If there are children in the pool, there is urine in the pool. Buy googles next. That being said, I bought a pair of the Finis and Kushies reusable swim diapers. Reusable is the only way to go, not only for the environment, but for your wallet as well. You're only protecting yourself from the risk of a mid-swim bowel movement. So why throw out a "clean" pair after most swims? I thought I'd like the Kushies more, since the fabric seemed softer and they are easier to get on (and off when wet!). But after wearing both, I'd recommend the Finis because they seemed a better fit. My son had red marks on his thighs from the Kushies. I only hesitate from giving 5 stars because he never had a bowel movement in either pair, and that's the real test!!

My daughter just peed with this diaper on without having gotten it wet yet, and all of the pee ran out of the diaper right down her leg. She is an average sized 2-year-old; I mistakenly bought the 'large' size based on her weight; the tag says "18-24 months". Even more reason that this diaper should NOT have leaked, given it was snug on her. Makes me angry because I was trying to save $ - as an alternative to buying swim diapers.
