great way to stop using disposable diapers for pool time. Easy and effective re-usable diaper - just throw in machine w/bathing suit after each use!

So I think I followed the advice of the other and sized up, they are perfect fit in terms of the tightness around the waist and around each leg. What I find a little odd is the width of the fabric in between his leg; the crotch area. It seems very narrow. It almost has a bikini type cut to it.

We take our little guy to swim classes and he wears a disposable swim diaper underneath this cover and diaper shows through a lot on either side of the crotch. It's probably not a big deal as long as no solids come out but so far after 2 classes, no Poo's to test how well they work!

What a cute swim diaper! When I first opened the package I thought, this little thing will not fit him. But it did! The elastic is stretchy but does not leave marks. We tested the diaper in the tub and it works good :)

First off, reusable swim diapers cannot be absorbent, or they would soak up the entire pool! Swim diapers are to protect the pool and it's occupants from fecal matter. If there are children in the pool, there is urine in the pool. Buy googles next. That being said, I bought a pair of the Finis and Kushies reusable swim diapers. Reusable is the only way to go, not only for the environment, but for your wallet as well. You're only protecting yourself from the risk of a mid-swim bowel movement. So why throw out a "clean" pair after most swims? I thought I'd like the Kushies more, since the fabric seemed softer and they are easier to get on (and off when wet!). But after wearing both, I'd recommend the Finis because they seemed a better fit. My son had red marks on his thighs from the Kushies. I only hesitate from giving 5 stars because he never had a bowel movement in either pair, and that's the real test!!

My daughter just peed with this diaper on without having gotten it wet yet, and all of the pee ran out of the diaper right down her leg. She is an average sized 2-year-old; I mistakenly bought the 'large' size based on her weight; the tag says "18-24 months". Even more reason that this diaper should NOT have leaked, given it was snug on her. Makes me angry because I was trying to save $ - as an alternative to buying swim diapers.

i read another review that said these run small, so i ordered an xl for my 14 month old, who isn't very chubby, and boy are these small, order way up on the size. i wish i would have ordered larger. i'll order again, but definitely get a much larger size.

This is a great reusable swim diaper and much better than the disposable swim diapers. It does run small. I purchased the large size for my toddler who has about 26 pounds last summer and by the end of the summer, I couldn't even fit the diaper over his thighs. Order a size up.

We got this diaper for our trip to Maui for our 13 month old son. He loved it! It worked very well for us, but I have to mention that he never pooped in it, which I imagine wouldn't be quite so ideal. But, it was easy to wash out and was ready for him again the next day. It was also much easier to get off than the disposable swim diapers.

I love the concept of these swim diapers, but I ordered a L for my 22 lb 9 month old and they are VERY snug. He is a chubby baby and the leg elastic leaves marks on his thighs. I was worried that the L would be too big since he is at the low end of the weight scale, but that is not the case. They will work for our upcoming beach vacation and then will be relegated to the storage bin of outgrown clothes.
