I took this with both of my pregnancies and while breastfeeding my first child for 2 months and my second child for 6 months. My boys are now 4 & 2 and they are WAYYYY ahead of their peers. My 4 yo wrote better than kindergartners when he was 3 and my 2 yo coukd count to10 when he was only a yr old!!! They sstill amaze me every day. My 2 yo speaks SENTENCES to me. Yes, some words might not be pronounced just right, but they are 4+ word sentences. My nephew that is two months older than my son is barely putting two words together. My sister would nit listen to me when I told her how I thought DHA played a huge part in making my son smart. I tell EVERYONE I know that is prego to take DHA ASAP!!!! Hope u have a baby genius too :)

I took this daily in the last trimester of my pregnancy and while I was breastfeeding with my second child. My first child is 16 months old and already advanced even without me taking this product. I know I am "thrifty" but this is expensive, even with a coupon! Maybe my stomach is sensitive, but it made me nauseous. I was back to normal 2 days after quitting. It's not a prenatal vitimen and my doctor told me that the prenatal is much more important than this suppliment.

For some reason Expecta has become increasingly hard to find at the drugstores/dept stores in my area. So I've had to start stocking it from diapers.com. My doctor recommended taking it before getting pregnant, during the pregnancy and whlie nursing. Usually I get bad side effects with supplements but not this one.

My mom brought this pill to me when I was pregnant and I thank god she did!! My daughter who is four amazes us daily. I just sent this information to a co-worker who is pregnant and started reading all the reviews and was so blown away because i always thought the pill had something to do with how smart she is but these all confirmed it! my daughter remembers everything and I mean everything!! Example, she remembered what aisle in Lowes her and her daddy bought a soap dispenser in!! Her eye sight is amazing as well. I used this while I was pregnant in addition to my regular pre natal vitamins. My daughter is now 5 and she is very smart for her age, She's reading and doing math at a first grade level. Her preschool teacher can't believe how quickly she picks things up.

I remember when my OB/GYN recommended this supplement in addition to my regular prenatal vitamins. I was worried about taking additional pills. I researched "Expecta" and found that many women to took this during their pregnancy found that their children showed advanced learning skills. My daughter is now three years old and is doing so well. She is sharp, observant, attentive, inquisitive,expressive and is doing well in her pre-school. She has a love of books, pretend play and puzzles. She is already trying to read and do simple math. Her teacher said she acts like a child that is 4 or 5 years old. Thank God for such a blessing.

I took Expectra along with my prenatal vitamin every night during pregnancy. My baby girl was carried to full term, 8.65 Ibs, 20.1 inches long and with rosy little cheeks. She was such a happy baby, never cried. She is almost 4 years now and is ahead of all the children in her pre-school class with her verbal skills (teacher told me)and it's amazing what she can spot with her eyes. She can see things when we are driving in the car that I really have to look for. She acts at least a year older than she actually is, which is a little bittersweet sometimes. I am a FIRM believer of taking this DHA supplement during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Whenever I receive complements from other people regarding her intellegence, I always think back about how glad I was that I took this while I was pregnant with her. I recommend this highly to any mother to be : )

I am so glad I researched and used this with my prenatal vitamin while pregnant with my second child. My daughter is in Pre-K and she is at kindergarten level also learning first grade level work. She was speaking clear sentences at the age of two. I had to start reading first grade level books to her seeing as she would memorize an early reading level book after the second time it was read to her. I am so glad I took this extra vitamin during my second pregnancy along with my prenatal vitamin every morning.

I took This suppliment while pregnant and breast feeding my son who is now 5 and I have to agree with the other reviews on here! My son started walking at 11 months and has always been a step ahead of most children. He is very intelligent, aswell as incredible problem solving skills and vision! I am now expecting my second child and taking Expecta again and will while breast feeding. This is a amazing product and it does support your child brain and eye development! It a great gift to give to your child- aswell as yourself. I notice my cognitive ability seemed better aswell while taking it! :)

Yes, this DHA supplement is GREAT.I took it when I was pregnant with my first child (forgot which week I started taking it).Now that my son is 3 years old,We can clearly see that my he is academically above other kids his age.By age of 2 my boy already knew all the alphabets and simple world spelling such as his name,mommy and daddy name etc, he was also able to count until 20.By 3 years old, He has mastered the alphabets both in English and Indonesian(my first language) and also read both in English and Indonesian and he knows the different which language is which.He also know how to read triple digits numbers!We are so excited to see more of his learning progress.

I must say that I always say that kids say the darnest things, but my litlle 2 year old has been absolutely above and beyond children her age in all activities. She picks up things very quickly and she keeps me on my toes. She was discussing shapes with her dad the other day and he was teaching her cirlces, squares, and triangles and she blurts out "octagon". We were absolutely amazed. She was told us about a "telescope" and that we use it to see the "moon & stars". Out of my mind. I would absolutely advise everyone to use this product, but we aware that they will keep you very busy and should save you money for college.

I took Expectra while I was pregnant with my first and the entire time I was nursing him. I'd take one everynight before I went to bed along with my prenatal vitamin. It has no taste, no smell, and never made me sick. It's a great source of extra Omega 3s that your baby needs! I am currently taking Expectra through my second pregnancy and also plan to use it until I am done nursing my new daughter. I highly recommend this product.
