We bought two of these seats for secondary use in my husband's car for our twin 2.5 year olds. Since they would only use them about 5% of the time, we didn't want to spend as much as we did on their Britax Advocates for everyday use. Upon receiving the seats, I was happy. They look good, feel good, and would definitely get the job done. The install was difficult...we attempted the latch system and the seat belt method. We just couldn't get it tight enough. We were so close to sending it back thinking it just wasn't compatible with our car, but decided to take it to the police station to a carseat installation expert. It worked! She showed us that once you thread the latch through the carseat and buckle both sides, you should thread the excess strap back through the carseat and pull in the opposite direction to get it tight. That would have been a handy tip to include in the manual, as it seems based on online reviews, many people have had this problem. It's a great seat and if it were our only seat, I probably wouldn't notice its inferior qualities compared to the Britax. The latch system is much easier to work with on a Britax and so is the harness. I find it more difficult to buckle my girls in this seat vs their Britax. It seems they are always sitting on the buckles or the buckles get twisted.

So far, these seats are working very well. I bought them because we have very limited space in the backseat of my sedan (Mazda 3), and need to fit 2 carseats for my twins. I am using them forward-facing, and they fit great, with plenty of legroom for the kiddos. They look pretty comfortable, although we don't really use them for long drives- these are our 'second car' seats. Also, they were very easy to install using the LATCH and tether systems.

Bought this as a travel seat (we have a very expensive Britax that we use daily but that is too heavy and too expensive to be wrecked by the airlines). Traveled well. The latch doesn't work as well so you need to old school it which is very simple. A towel helps w/ the angle (not a noodle). We also use this seat for our inlaws, they can manipulate it easily.

Light for travel and my son is very comfortable in it. Would buy again as a 2nd back up inexpensive car seat (not as primary).

I was so excited about this carseat... Until I tried to install it. The anchor strap for the LATCH system is not long enough to use in my 2011 Honda Pilot. I would say if it didn't fit there, it probably wouldn't fit in other SUVs either.

I bought this car seat for use at Grandma's house so we didn't have to fly with our Britax. At first I thought "I wish I had known about this car seat before I bought the Britax", but after a 6 hour car ride, I'm still very satisfied the Britax is my primary seat. This car seat is very convenient to install and mostly comfortable. The seat sits very upright and on the long car ride my almost 2 year old could not get comfortable enough to sleep for long. He falls asleep no problem in the Britax. That's not necessarily a make or break in a carseat unless you do lots of driving. Otherwise, he seemed plenty comfortable. So, I would say, if cost is a concern, this is a great buy. If you want it for short trips or as a second car seat, this is a great buy. I would still buy the Britax Roundabout again as my primary seat.
