Comments about Simplygo Single Breast Pump:

I purchased this pump in a store when I went out of town for the whole day and forgot my main pump (medela and Ameda). I wanted an electric pump, but since i had two of the "big brand" pumps at home, i didnt need all the bells and whistles. This worked great for me to pump twice before I was able to get back home to my baby. I do like the fact that is it small and can use batteries and will fit into my daiper bag or larger purse. It is a louder motor than the larger ones have, but it is a single pump and the suction is great so I think it would have to be somewhat loud to have the great power. I was able to pump a full 6 oz bottle in 5 mins in the backseat. Note: It only comes ith one bottle, so make sure to get extras.

Comments about Simplygo Single Breast Pump:

This pump isn't meant for more than occasional pumping. I pump maybe once a day just to create a reserve for babysitters/days when I may need to be away from baby and this pump fulfills my need. It is easy to use and has good suction. It isn't the quietest pump out there but certainly isn't the loudest either. All parts are dishwasher safe and is incredibly easy to disassemble/assemble. This is the right pump for you if you're looking to pump occasionally, don't want to spend a lot of money, and don't care about having a chargeable battery source (runs plugged in or aa's).

Comments about Simplygo Single Breast Pump:

Since I work at a day care and can nurse my son when needed, I didn't want to spent hundreds of dollars on a pump.
I got this pump and it is decent. It gets the job done pretty effectively and is very portable. It take batteries that will last a while (but it loses suction as the batteries die) or plugs in. It's great to throw in a bag for a trip and I've even used it in the car several times; it's GREAT for that.
However, it's incredibly LOUD, like vacuum cleaner loud. Also, the instructions recommend that it only get used twice a day at most, I'm assuming so the motor doesn't blow out.
I will be getting another pump for more frequent use, but would recommend this one for travel.

Comments about Simplygo Single Breast Pump:

I have the predecessor the Comfort Select. It was excessively loud. Worked for about a month. Motor burns out, so new SimplyGo has an improved motor at a similar price point. My thought is that if something is not made to last, the next series is rarely made to last. Thus, no more Evenflo products for me.
