Absolutly wonderful! We've tried 5 formulas and this finally did the trick for my little one! She was horribly constipated the first 8 weeks of life and couldnt find a formula to help it and one that she could keep from throwing up, this did the trick! Constipation was gone in the first 2 days and she keeps it down wonderfully. My only con is the expense, however whatever it takes to keep her happy and healthy.

Comments about Enfamil Nutramigen with Enflora LGG Powder - 12.6 oz Can:

Due to the added Enflora, my little one could not tolerate Nutramigen powder. I saw many other reviews on this site that indicated that the added Enflora was what was causing this reaction. So, I tried the ready to feed in a can (which is over $10 per can) and it has worked wonders. While I can't recommend the powder, I can recommend the ready to feed. Unfortunately, I'm still disappointed that Enfamil has discontinued their making of the Nutramigen powder without the Enflora. Why not offer both?

Comments about Enfamil Nutramigen with Enflora LGG Powder - 12.6 oz Can:

Our newborn baby was fussing, crying, and passing too much gas. He would cry every day before, during, and after a feeding...it was sad to experience as a first time parent. Fortunately after reading about Enfamil feeding solutions and talking to our baby's pediatrician, his formula got changed to Gentlease for about a month. We saw a slight difference in his behavior, but the crying and painful look continued. As a result, the pediatrician recommended Nutramigen since our baby boy was suffering with reflux. This formula is amazing, the next morning after we'd only fed our baby three times with Nutramigen, he woke up as a totally different baby. He did not wake up crying anymore, he was calm & happy waiting to be fed. This was such a happy moment to our family. Now he's four and a half months, has been on Nutramigen for two and half months & thriving! we can't be a happier family!! Thanks Enfamil!!

Comments about Enfamil Nutramigen with Enflora LGG Powder - 12.6 oz Can:

Our newborn son was having a very hard time with the milk based formulas. Our pediatrician suggested Nutramigen and this formula has been a lifesaver! Our baby is tolerating this formula much better than the others we've tried. He is sleeping for longer periods at night and has very little gas or fussiness since the switch.
The one Con I do have with this formula is that I wish it came in different/more convenient serving sizes as the other Enfamil formulas do - Such as the Nursettes or the Single-Serve Powder Packets. This would make for more convenient feedings when on the go. But other than that, no complaints!

My son is 8 weeks old. We tried 5 different formulas before this one. After 3 feedings he was not fussy or in pain (from a belly ache) anymore. He would scream and cry during feedings and this formula has changed that :) We had major constipation issues with other formula and this formula works wonders to move bowels. This was more of a concern for us because our son has spina bifida and one of the problems that can occur is a loss of bladder and bowel function from nerve damage. It would take our son 7 hours sometimes to have a bowel movement while using other formula. As soon as we made the switch he became more regular and did not strain at all to have a bowel movement.

Comments about Enfamil Nutramigen with Enflora LGG Powder - 12.6 oz Can:

My daughter would projectile vomit after almost every feeding. She would scream and cry a lot. Her little tummy was like a rock. We fed her an ounce then waited 15 min, then fed another ounce, then waited 15 min, so forth and so on to keep milk in her so she would grow. We tried 4 or 5 different formulas because she had thrown up formula from the very first time she tried it, but when she started throwing up my breast milk I knew something was wrong. After some online research I found out about Nutramigen. I decided that I was going to buy a 12 oz can and give myself enough days for her to eat the entire can before I had my own sanity meltdown. The next day she was a brand new baby. She was calm, smiling, and cooing. She was not this screaming new baby I had grown accustomed to for the past 2 months. I honestly didn't expect a formula to work as fast and as well as Nutramigen did for her. Yes, it's on the expensive side if you don't qualify for any assistance, but well worth every penny. Another con would be that the formula smells bad/weird. She has never shown any indication that it tastes bad to her, but she started smelling like the formula after we switched to it. The best way I could describe the way she smells would be to say she smells like a "cheezit" cracker. She poops just fine on this formula (usually 1x per day), but if for some reason she doesn't, I just give her some juice and the sugar from that starts moving things right along.

After trying several different formulas our first month mainly because he wasn't having good bowel movements this did the trick very quickly! We weren't 100 percent sure if he was allergic to cows milk or what but this was recommend by our pediatrician. Thank goodness me found this and it still works great now that our son is 7 mo's. I would recommend to just out your baby on this right away if you're formula feeding instead o trying several others. It worth every penny. Diapers.com has a great price when your purchase the formula in bulk! Also, our son has acid reflux so when using this formula we have to add in rice cereal in his bottle per the pediatrician. He's been on rice in his bottles sense he was 2 mo's. this formula is very light and like water!

My baby was screaming after most feedings straight from the hospital. I questioned the staff about the possibility of her having a cow's milk allergy, but they agreed that it may be too early to detect. After changing her formula 3X, I finally discovered Nutramigen around 4 WEEKS old. Now at 4 MONTHS old, she has become a very happy baby with regular bowel movements. Sometimes a little explosive, but without the screaming & little to no discomfort for her---- or me. Have tried to change to a cheaper formula, but she has not been able to tolerate anything else. All in all, I would rather pay the price for a happy, healthy baby.
Suggestion: Try to see if your insurance carrier covers this formula

The first two months of my son's life were a nightmare! He was either sleeping, nursing/bottle feeding, or screaming!! I was distraught, I had tried everything and wasn't taking the "oh it's just colic" answer anymore! Our pediatrician recommended Nutramigen and cutting dairy out of my diet, I was skeptical but desperate, so it was worth a shot. Within 24 hours I had a completely different child!! He's 10 months old now and has been a happy baby ever since! I owe my sanity to Nutramigen!! (Especially since my hubby was deployed at the time, so I was on my own!)

Finally after trying six different times a formula that works! It keeps my little one regular, he would get constipated on every other formula that we have tried. it's expensive but totally worth it to keep little Maddox out of pain.
