I bought this bag because of the name, and because I wanted something that a husband could carry. We have carried this everyday for 15 months, but yes, the bag completely falls apart. If you stuff the bag, like they do in this picture, the zipper permanently breaks. The seams give out, and the fabric wears out. It looks just awful after a short period of time which is disappointing. It wore out very quickly, and definitely was not up to the task of keeping up with a busy mom and tot!


NOTE: If you wash it, remove the flat insert on the bottom because it is filled with cardboard fibers.

While on the hunt for a new bag, I saw this one (what I'm replacing) and decided to comment...

My son is not quite 6 months old and this thing is literally falling apart. The zipper is broken, the lining is coming apart... not a good diaper bag.

Yes, this is a very well constructed bag with a ton of useful pockets. Having said that, I still would not recommend to a friend or re-purchase for myself if I were to do it over again. The shoulder strap is terribly uncomfortable and it isn't as roomy as it appears. For the price it really can't be beat, but if you're looking for something stylish and that can be used for long trips; look elsewhere. I'm going to have to buy a new diaper bag as we have a big trip coming up and this bag won't cut it for a carry-on/plane ride.

We love this diaper bag! We have been using it for over a year and it still looks brand new! Worth every penny we paid! Best diaper bag I have owned with any of my children! It is really a must have! And I love how it works for a girl and boy since I have one of each!

I loved it at first. It was practical had bottle holders inside and pockets/storage everywhere.

Then it started to fall apart - everywhere.

Plus, as my son has gotten older and the need to carry more (snacks, and such) it just can't keep up.

I'm on the hunt for a new one.

We have this bag AND the one just like it in the other size. We also felt we were buying value with the name brand, and on BOTH bags, the straps have ripped and the inside lining has not held up. DON'T BUY THIS BAG!

I have two children in diapers (plus two school-aged). We are on the go every day - Story Times, Grocery Shopping, Parks, etc. I can fit all their stuff! I have used it EVERY DAY for about 7 months, and no problems!

This started out to be a great bag, but within a couple of months the lining ripped out of the inside. I take very good care of my things, but I saw no hope in this one. It has a lot of great pockets, but in turn I found the outer pocket would not stay velcroed shut. I wouldn't recommend if you plan on using it on a daily basis. Maybe here and there to travel. Over all poor quality.

We saw this bag at Target and put it on our baby registry. Within 4 months the lining ripped from the side pocket and we don't even use the side pocket. and then at 6 months the strap broke. I realize it isn't too expensive, however it would be if i have to buy a diaper bag every 6 months until my baby is potty trained.

This bag has a very useful design because it has a lot of pockets, and its convenient because both my husband and i can use it. However, the construction of it is horrible! i've had the bag for 2 weeks and in the first week, the lining of the front pockets broke, and now, the shoulder strap broke on it! i'm very dissapointed because Eddie Bauer is supposed to be a good brand and it was expensive but i'm never going to buy it again!
