Comments about Diaper Relief Ointment - 4 oz:

I bought this diaper cream without having read any reviews, and I loved it. I reordered it several times and had no problems. I live in Arizona and I never noticed any problems with separation of the cream. However, I had some sent to my mom's house in Texas, and both tubes were watery and separated. I don't know if it has something to do with the humidity or time in transit (1 day vs. 2), but the cream works wonderfully for me in Arizona. I didn't try it in Texas as it wasn't homogenizing fast enough and I just sent it back.

I agree with the other posts... there is a watery substance that comes out when squeezed, but this ointment clears up my daughters red hiney faster than any other diaper cream! Once you can get past the liquid in the beginning, it's excellent!

Comments about Diaper Relief Ointment - 4 oz:

This cream is excellent. I have twins. I use it on both of them. When either one gets sore from wetness or messy diaper, overnight their bottoms are almost better (usually better). There is no other daiper cream out there that heals thier bottoms so quickly. I have read in my herbal books that Calendula(in product) is very good for the skin and helps it heal. The product does seperate(probably does not have the usual preservates in it). I squish the tub around. If this does not work in mixing it back up, it takes a little more time in massaging it on the bottom, but will stick. I am usually generous with the product to make sure that the product coats well. If you do not make sure the white cream stick, it is ineffective. I highly recommend it.

I used this brand a lot with my firstborn but have given it up because the cream does not stay together. After a few uses it separates so that when I squeeze the tube, water comes out instead of the cream, which is very messy. Before each use I was shaking and kneading the tube, which took a lot of time (not good with a squirmy baby who just had a blowout) and didn't always work. It did work to clear up rash and was non-greasy yet had sticking power, but it just got to be too much of a nuisance to have water instead of cream coming out of the tube.

This product is awful. It comes out in a blob with a clear liquid (water? oil?). It's so hard to spread on my baby's skin that it's useless. I bought this one because it was less expensive than one of the other natural diaper creams I've tried, but I will be going back to the other brand.

This diaper rash cream is awful. Every time I use it water comes out of the tube before the cream does, making a huge mess. Then when I do get the cream out, it is too watery to really cover my baby's bum. It doesn't seem to help with diaper rash or to create a barrier. It is just too watery. I would take any other cream over this one.

I was really dissapointed in this product. When I went to use it clear water like liquid came out and the white zinc portion came out chunked like cottage cheese. I tried shaking it up no help! It is like when you first open mustard-liquid pours out. I like other Earths Best products including the bath wash-but they got something wrong when they made this.

I purchased this product becuase I was looking for a diaper cream that was made of natural ingredients and this product met my criteria. I purchased 3 tubes at one time. When I opened the first tube and used it a few times, the product went on smooth and creamy after a few days, the product starts to separate. All three tubes did the same thing. It was like apply a watery paste to my son. - I would not recommend this product.

Comments about Diaper Relief Ointment - 4 oz:

Saw this at a local Baby store and bought it because I was looking for natural products. When our baby girl got a diaper rash, we started using this at the first sign and it just got worse. We ended up going to the doctor and found it was a yeast rash. Doctor recommended Aquaphor(which, it turns out, is a petroleum based product and petroleum-though it keeps out moisture--has been associated with cancer, so I stopped as soon as I realized this)and a Rx cream and oral antibiotic) That went away, but then a rash re-appeared, so I went back to using this Earth's Best and two days later the rash was worse.
We had a tiny tube of the Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, so I researched the ingredients and, when I saw natural ingredients, began to use it. The rash looked better the next day. The Burt's is thick and goes on like a solid paste and stays on well, providing a GOOD BARRIER from moisture and whatever else ends up in the diaper. The Earth's Best has an oily consistency and sort of comes off as I'm putting it on, so it was difficult to coat her skin well. It smells nice and it's a nice idea with good ingredients, but not effective.

I think I tried every diaper rash cream on the market (including a bunch of high priced European ones) and this (as well as Mister Baby - only available in Italy) is the best I found.

This cream stays in place and works as a great barrier... as well as a healing cream. It cured my son's diaper rash in less than 2 days. It is easy to apply, smooth and VERY easy to clean.
