I think this must work for some people and not others. Mosquitos LOVE me but I have had luck with other natural sprays like California Baby. However, I just came inside from trying this product for the first time and have (no exaggeration) TWENTY THREE mosquito bites. Yet my daughter only has two. But even still, it should repel so we have none! I know I am a mosquito attracter (I hear they like certain blood types) but I'm pretty disappointed.

I have purchased this product more than once as it is effective against biting bugs. I've used it both in the yard and out in the woods. I don't care for the odor, yet it isn't so overpowering that I can't use it. Definitely a product with a good value that I will purchase again.

I use this product for my 9 year old son and 1 year old baby and myself. I am allergic to the types of mosquitoes found in South Florida. Going outside has been very difficult for me, but I would never put chemical poison on my children or on myself. This product has been a great natural alternative. The active ingredients are Soybean oil and geranium oil.

Things I liked:
I have sensitive skin and this did not irritate it. The smell is much better than any of the other repellents available in my local markets. The ingredients are safe for children and babies.

Things that took some getting used to:
I don't like applying anything to my skin, but if you have to, this product is really nice. If you miss a spot, be prepared for mosquitoes to find that spot (at least if you live in a very swampy area with heavy mosquitoes).

Some people dislike the smell, at first it reminded me of something I couldn't put my finger on. I realized it smells like lemon/citrus pez candy. I don't mind that. The scent fades, and it's much better than a horrible chemical scent or the mosquito bites and potential diseases they carry.

Some people have had problems with leaks, but that has not happened to me. Still, keeping it upright may be something to keep in mind.

I will agree with the previous reviews that the bottle will leak if it's not kept upright. That said, I really love the product. I've got two girls with really sensitive skin (that they inherited from their mother!) and we all tend to get rashes from sprays and lotions. I LOVE this product, very gentle on the skin and I think it works terrific. We have a pond behind our house and get swarms of mosquitos, we wear this product all day every day. It also works great for keeping the little gnats at bay that are constantly flying around your face out here. It does have a strong scent, but I didn't find it unpleasant...I thought it was much, much better than "Off" brand and some of the other bug sprays on the market. And the scent is quick-fading. I've never had to rub the spray in or anything, we just spray it everywhere and in a minute or so it's dry and the scent has faded and we're good to go. You do have to reapply it like every 2-3 hours I've noticed for best results. I recommend this to everyone!

Like everyone else, I had the experience that this product leaked all over my bag. I could deal with that if the product worked. Unfortunately, seconds after I applied it, mosquitoes landed on my daughter right where I had applied it! Strangely, my husband, who also had been attacked prior to application, got no bites once he applied it. Seems to work on some people, but not others.

This product's bottle broke all over my beach bag - not good packaging for outdoor activity/use. Only got to use it once - However I was not impressed -- I have used better "natural" bug repellent.

this product works, not too crazy about the smell, but keeps my son out of bites. the bottle leaks, another mom in the park had the same problem, so you have to remember to always keep it upright. the company should look into their bottle desing.

The daycare provider told me that the bugs were literally surrounding my child but not attacking. I can't think of anything better, plus it is natural. I have a bottle for the car, house, and bag, as my son was constantly getting attacked.

The product leaked during shipment, so I was met with the scent of this product upon opening my diapers.com order. I don't consider myself fussy when it comes to smells, but I really can't handle the smell of this spray for some reason.

I bought this for our little boy, he's 5 months, because we are outside ALL the time during the spring and summer months. We live on Lake Livingston, so mosquitoes are TERRIBLE at our house, they will literally carry you away. So, I bought this product, and I love it!!! It sprays on, it's thick and white, so some rubbing required. NO nasty smell, slightly (very slightly) greasy at first until it dries and then you don't even know you've put it on. Awesome product!
