I absolutely love this product! I got the entire Earth's Best baby product line as a shower gift, and this is by far my favorite. The packaging is very user friendly -- even easier than the pump top lotions. Whenever my little girl has an area of dryness or irritation, one use of the calendula cream takes care of it. I would guess that the babies who got rashes from it were allergic to something. As with all products for baby, I always try it on a small area first to test for reactions. She has never had an issue with this product and loves getting massages with it!

I don't understand the negative comments and think perhaps the child had allergy to calendula oils - afterall, it is from a flower. I found the opposite. Anytime my baby had redness, rashes, or even little baby fingernail scratches, and EVEN bruises - I put a little of this stuff on him and in less than an hour, the offending sites virtually disappeared and healed. I also think it makes him smell heavenly, and so has each and every person who has smelled the lotion on him. I have ordered this lotion many times and think it is worth every penny! I use it on my hands and face, too.

I use this primarily after my kid's baths. I love the pop-top jar design- much easier to use than tubes of lotion. It's thick enough for dry winter skin but thin enough for summer use too. Definately a favorite product.

I gave my son a bath throughout which he smiled and cooed. I placed him on his towel and gave him a light massage with this product. Within seconds he was screaming and his skin turned bright pink everywhere. I went into panic mode and washed him all over again as he screamed. He calmed down after about 1/2 hour. the following days were terrible as the fuill damage became apparent. scaly patches, flaking, he felt like he was made of sandpaper. CA baby calendula cream cleared it up immediately (once I got up the nerve to put it on him). this was a terrible experience for baby and mom. I still feel like a terrible parent.

I bought this cream because you get more for your money compared to the other cream I use. BIG MISTAKE. After using this my son not only broke out into a rash, but smelled like I had deep fried him. I will definitely stick to California Baby's calendula cream.

I was looking for a natural and safe baby lotion and I came across this. I love the other Earth's Best products, so I gave it a shot. I really love this stuff. Its creamy, has a mild smell and comes in a great easy to open and access tub-which is great when dealing with a slippery baby after a bath. I use it on my son (5 months old) after every bath to keep his skin soft.
