I give this to my daughter (7 mo) as a protein source since we're vegetarian. She seems to like it, and I actually like the flavor too. I wish that it didn't have apples in it, though. We were trying to introduce one food at a time so we could see if there was any allergy (my husband is a little bit allergic to apples), and we hadn't given her apples yet. She seems to be fine though!

First the taste...it is HORRIBLE, it smells and I have to fix it with other things so the boys will eat it...and still they really hate it!
Second, if you are in a rush like me and just read the label "chicken apple" or else, you don t read the ingredients and what do you find out? that there is also carrots, oatmeal flour and something else...
I am trying to write down CAREFULLY every thing the boys eat so we don t run into allergy problems adding one ingredient at the time but earth best adds on a tons like raisins and dates in the yogurt apple oatmeal...not very serious...especially cause it doesn t make it taste better!

Summer Vegetable - one of the 4 varieties in this pack - smells like melting vinyl, and tastes like what I imagine that would taste like.

For this reason, our son won't eat it unless it is disguised with some other food(s). So, I'd rather buy the other flavors individually than waste my money buying this variety pack with three of the jars being disgusting.

I gave this a 2-star rating only because the other flavors are good.
