As my baby got older, she started to want to nurse more. It always seemed that she wanted just a little more... I researched a little and gave this tea a try. It does have a bit of a funky herbal smell, which is expected for herbal teas. I added some lemon to the tea and it did the trick. After about 3 days of drinking it once in the morning and once at night I got just the boost I needed to keep with my baby's growing apetite. Now she gets just the amount she needs!!

This tea really works! I have been taking it for the past 2 days (2 cups a day), and my supply has doubled in 2 days! I am excited to see how much more it will increase.

As a mom to 5 month old twins, I was getting concerned about my supply since they have started to drink more, but this tea has solved the problem. I can tell this is going to be a lifesaver! Yes, it does taste slightly weird, but not that bad in my opinion. Plus, I would do anything for my babies.

I have tried fenugreek (which slightly worked), other herb capsule products and other brand teas (none of which worked), and I've finally found what really works best. Get this tea! If you are a twin mom like me, or have triplets or more, or just have issues with supply, you should definitely try this!!!

I don't know if this works because I couldn't get past the taste enough to drink any of it. I can't stand black licorice and that is exactly what this tea tastes like. I think I will try something else.

Based on the other reviews here, I had such high hopes that this tea would help boost my milk supply, but, unfortunately, I haven't seen any increase at all. I've been drinking 2 cups/day for 5 days. Maybe that's not enough time so I'll keep trying, but so far, I'm very disappointed. And ps., if you dislike the taste of black licorice (like me) you will not enjoy the taste of this tea. It's not terrible, but I certainly wouldn't rave about the taste like other reviewers.

i used this when my milk was low, i would drink like 2cups a day. 1in the morning and 1in the afternoon. but it takes a couple days to kick in to notice your milk is back up. the smell is strong but its Tasty, it also makes your milk flow better ;) im running out so im going to order more.

I did not produce milk the first time around.This time I was but it seemed like I should have more.After two breast infections being sick, tintures and other teas I tried begging my Dr to give me something to increase my milk. I was unsuccessful. I saw this product tried it and it was like magic, 4 cups two days and I had enough milk that I no longer worry about it. Amazing!

After starting a diet to lose my excess baby weight I had noticeably less milk...I think my production reduced by half. I had tried expensive herbal supplements which didn't do a thing so I decided to try this tea after reading the reviews on another site. This tea did the trick. I downed 3 cups the day I received it and that night I was back up to my usual production. I should also mention that my son had begun a nursing strike when my supply started to wan. The tea did the trick and now no more strike. I am extremely pleased with this product and would recommend it to any nursing mother who is having lactation difficulty or is worried about their milk coming in. The only bad thing is that it tastes totally vile, but I just think of my baby and gulp it down it's way better than dealing with a nursing strike.

I used this when my supply started getting low due to my type of birth control and when my daughter was sick and not eating well. I noticed my supply went up after pumping much more milk than usual when using this tea.

Don't let the smell of this tea frighten you. When you first get it out of the box it smells pretty strong and not very good. It is packaged a little odd. There are 2 bags of 8 tea bags all packaged together. They are not individually wrapped like regular brands of tea. Once it is brewed, the tea smells a little like celery but the flavor is mild and pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to pump about 1 1/2 oz more 2 days after starting this tea. So overall, I'm impressed with the flavor and the way this tea works.

I was worried about declining supply of breastmilk especially since I was traveling to a wedding out of state for the weekend. I bought this and drank it the night before our flight - bad idea!! It worked so well that I was leaking on the plane!! But I am happy that it works. I was producing about 3 ounces each time, now I get between 3-5 regularly when I drink this tea. My baby is 7 weeks old.

Pro: tastes great by itself or with a honey. It tastes strong brewed in 8oz but can easily be diluted into 12 or 14 oz and still tastes great and bonus -you will get more water!

Pro: I know it works and it's not because I am getting mre fluid - I have a Nalgene bottle that I monitor my fluid intake daily and I was up to 120oz/day with no more milk production. After drinking this tea I only drink 100oz and produce much more milk.

Con: It is packaged oddly. 2 sets of 8 tea bags in blisterpacks. It would be nice if I could get them packaged individually so I could throw them in my work bag easier. Now I put them in a ziplock baggy. Also, they stick together and I've accidently brewed two at a time instead of just one... annoying.

Con: I leak! I am using Medela reusable cotton breast shields and now I go through 2 or 3 per breast a day. I used to only change them in the morning. [maybe not a con, but it was a surprise!]

I am not a tea drinker, but I'm not a picky eater either. I find the taste is good, like a home cooked meal, and it actually surpresses my appetite [although I think that is just because the spices taste like food and not tea!].

I am definitely reordering. I haven't tried other milk-supporting teas so I can't compare, but I am really happy with this one.

I have at least one cup of the Milkmaid tea a day, just to make sure my supply is adequate for my 4 month old son. I work three days a week and only get to pump once while my baby takes 2-3 bottles, so the tea helps maintain my supply for him.

I used this all during the 3 years I breastfed my son. It really helped when I returned to work when he was 6 mos. of age. I worked 2 days/week and noticed my milk production would fall. By using this product it helped me to relax and he always got enough milk. Would that have happened without it, I don't think so. It's tasty too! Warm or cold.

I am an avid tea drinker and I was looking for something that would be safe to drink while nursing so I though I'd give this a try. I love it! I drink my tea strong and unsweetened but I bet some honey and milk would be tasty too. I read the reviews that the flavor takes some getting used to but if you already like herbal teas and fennel then its quite good. I put 2 bags in a pot and sip on it all day and I have noticed a difference in my milk supply, part of it could be that I am just more hydrated but I also noticed my milk flows better when I am pumping and my breast became even more full, but not engorged. I think this would be great for someone looking to produce more milk, but I don't think it helps for making more than maybe an extra ounce or so.
