Tried to get these to relieve my sore breasts. They aren't the greatest in terms of design and duration of heat/cooling and are definately not worth the cash. Basically, you could take a sock and fill it with flax seed yourself, freeze and or heat it for the same effect. I don't think the design is all that great. I thought they would stay stable on the breast but you need to prop it up in a bra or something...

This was a gift from a friend of mine and it was a true lifesaver.

I had really painful breastfeeding sessions due to poor latching and had to use a nipple shield. I also went back to work and often got engorged breasts while traveling or if I waited too long to pump.

I kept these in the freezer inside a Ziploc bag and it felt great to tuck them inside my nursing bra.

So soothing!

With one breast engorged and needing to be iced and the other breast suffering from a plugged milk duct and needing warm compresses, the ability to microwave and freeze the booby tubes seemed a perfect solution. However, because this is a natural product (filled with flax seed) the tube does not stay cold for long or warm for long--we're talking only a few minutes. So you have to frequently heat and/or freeze the tubes. The tubes do help, it's just short-lived. I like the shape because they wrap nicely around your breast. But, my breasts were huge and I needed a little more tube. Overall, I would not recommend especially since it's a pricey product and you can make do with stuff around the house (like freezing water-filled disposable diapers).
