These are pretty much a must have item. The caps are very secure and have never leaked for us. I use them when I need to shake up a bottle or even store a ready to use bottle.

I love all things wide neck. These are so convenient. I use them to prefill all the bottles for the day with water, then I leave them capped while I warm the water and mix the formula. Works very well.

These are very useful for mixing formula or warming breast milk since based on the design of the bottle you can't do either with the insert (tube, etc.) inside. They make a nice, tight seal and I've never had any leakage issues.

I haven't found the fact that they don't cover the insert to be a problem. if I'm using these away from home I put breastmilk/formula in the bottle and keep the sterilized insert into a plastic bag and throw it in my diaper bag.

They don't cover the insert. When using these to transport a full bottle that's been sterilized, you would have to transport the sterilized insert & nipple separately. Much too complicated. They should be designed to cover the inserts like the nipple piece. I bought these because the little disks you get w/ the Dr. Brown's bottles are so hard to get out I thought these would be easier than those or inverting the nipple (impossible due to the insert) when travelling with a bottle. Not true!
