      • Dr. Brown's Polypropylene Natural Flow Bottles

Dr. Brown's Polypropylene Natural Flow Bottles are an innovative yet natural way to feed your baby. Dr. Brown's bottles use vent technology that captures air bubbles at the bottom of the bottle, and prevents them from entering baby's stomach. This patented 2-piece internal vent system creates positive pressure flow for a comfortable feeding. The nipple of this bottle doesn't collapse and generates a vacuum-free feeding. It helps maintain essential nutrients like vitamin A, C and E. Plus, it also reduces common feeding problems like colic, gas, burps and spit ups.

Why You'll Love It: Dr. Brown's Polypropylene Natural Flow Bottles doesn't mix air with formula or breast milk.

Comments about BPA Free Natural Flow Bottles - 4 oz - 3 pk:

My newborn son had a number of feeding issues at birth. He had a weak suck and would get tried before he could finish 1oz. He didn't have a complete seal around the nipple with his mouth, so sometimes milk would leak out for one side of his month. He had issues with coordinating breathing, sucking and swallowing while feeding. My son also had occasional reflux! These issues would cause him to get a lot of gas, hiccups, and burping (dry and/or wet). It was very important to find the right bottles with great nipples that would best help him.
Dr. Brown's bottles (along with some feeding therapy) helped my baby get right on track and he is doing great! I have been using the bottles since he was about a month and he is 5 months now on level 2 flow. The fact that these bottles reduce the amount of air he swallows when drinking, he has less gas, hiccups and burps. The nipples are not too wide or long for his mouth and there is no leaking of milk.
If my son didn't have feeding issues I don't think I would have bought these bottles. It is a lot of parts which makes it difficult to clean and because of the special design/technology they are expensive.

Comments about BPA Free Natural Flow Bottles - 4 oz - 3 pk:

Dr. Brown's bottles are made in the USA, use special design/technology to prevent gas colic, preserves the nutrients in expressed breast milk the best, have nipples for different sizes/stages, are BPA-free, and hold up well to use again and again. The major down-side to the Dr. Brown's bottles are that they're a pain to clean the special air-flow straw inside them - BUT they are dishwasher safe. I used these bottles with my son and again with my daughter and they still look like new.

My newborn gets a lot of gas, hiccups, burping, and tummy aches. Since getting these bottles she has stopped spitting up as much, and seems over all much happier at feedings.

I was using the Tommee Tippee bottles and they were not working for my newborn. They caused a lot of dribble. Since she had some reflux I researched different bottles and Dr. Brown's seemed to be to the better option. So far it seems to be working (that plus the fact that I'm also using the Fisher Price Newbron Rock-n-Play cradle). I'm using the preemie nipple to have a very slow flow. The only downside is having to clean the insert...but then again...the Tommee Tippee bottles have an annoying insert too.

Bonus - these fit the Medela hospital pump so it's great to be able to pump the milk right into the bottles and then store in the fridge.

Our baby boy was having such a hard time with colic until we introduced him to Dr. Brown's bottles. They changed our baby's quality of life immediately. He was able to feed and reduce gas and colic at the same time. It also reduced the time we spend burping him. It was like night and day for our baby. He was happier and less fuzzy. I can't believe we wasted so much money on other bottles that claim to be the best for colic. Dr. Brown's are definetely the best. Don't waste anytime with other bottles. The Dr. knows best.

I have used the 4 oz bottles. I introduced bottles to my daughter at about 6 weeks. These bottles have always worked great. They do take a little extra cleaning, although the instructions are clear that these bottles take a little extra time to clean but worth the effort. My daughter is now 4 months and the 4 oz still works great as she doesn't eat more than that at a time. I would guess a bottle fed baby would probably need the next size up (or a BF baby that takes in more at a time).

I bought these before my baby was born. I planned on breastfeeding and bottle feeding, so these were ideal for switching back and forth. As soon as he used one I ordered another three pack and will be ordering the next size up soon. There are no real performance issues. The only thing I didn't like is the inside part has these weird little spots that milk hangs out in and got moldy in one of my bottles after only a day of sitting on my counter. It was kind gross so now we rinse them out as sson as we're done usung them and no more issues.

I heavily recommend not buying the 4 ounce bottles. You will save yourself money in the long run if you buy 8 ounce bottles in the beginning, since they will last you much longer.

I so wanted these to work. I replaced their nipples with NUK level one nipples which slow down the milk flow. I had been using these on different bottles and wanted to reduce gas. While it is true that there is no air buildup in the bottle, I think it is this same fact that makes the milk flow out of the bottle way too fast and, guess what, gives my baby gas! I'd prefer to have some air in the bottle than the milk pouring down baby's throat and face. Maybe these are better for older babies, but I cant use them on my 8 week old.

My baby screamed every night from midnight to 6am beginning at only 1 week old. We had thought it was colic (maybe it was) but one night at 2:30am I was desperate and ordered 6 of the Dr. Brown's bottles with the Nuk newborn nipples (slower flow) and OVERNIGHT things changed! She is sleeping in 2-4 hr segments and she is a much happier baby. Also, big mistake I was making was shaking the bottle with her formula to really stir it up (BAD idea). Don't shake any botles because it forms bubbles (gently stir with a spoon) which ensures no air is trapped. Also warm the bottle with the nipple off.

When I first started bottle hunting I didn't even think about using these because I basically thought they looked like a plain bottle. Then I started reading reveiws and these seemed like a magic bottle so I bought them for my little girl. When my daughter was in the NICU they used a simple nipple on the formula nurser and she would always have gas and would cry. After getting her home and using these bottles she doesn't cry anymore, I still think she gets a little gas but not as bad as before. I think these helped settle her tummy well by keeping the air out.
