just as I expected, no smells are leaked, bags dont break or leak and fit a lot of diapers. I dont put #2 diapers in them as nothing can contain that smell..those go outside.

I've read all the reviews for the pail and decided to buy it. It works great. Mine came with these biodegradable liners but when it came time to buy more, I mistakenly went for the originals based on the reviews I've read. BIG MISTAKE! They smell horrible. I don't know what everyone was talking about. I didn't even use them. I put them right back in the box and returned them for these ones. In my opinion, they are much better and don't seem to have a repelling smell at all. As for being biodegradable? Well, I don't know if they really are but I'll keep buying them to have a fresh smelling nursery.

I've heard a lot of debate between brands, but I think the Diaper Dekor Plus works great to contain odors. We were so pleased with that and how simple it is to use that when we had our second child, we bought another one (so we could have one in each room). I have also found that somehow the biodegradable refills contain odor better than the regular ones and with the environmental bonus, you can't lose!

We had been using the regular Dekkor refills, but I like these better. Not only are they biodegradable, but they have a fresh scent that works (sort of) to contain the smell of the diapers. Every little bit helps!

We have a 2 year old and 5 month old twins and NOTHING could keep up with the diapers and the SMELL! So after looking around I saw the Diaper Dekor which had good reviews about smell control and ease. So I decided to give it a try. Not only do these bags (refills) contain the smell they can take up to 232 diapers per refill! It's really easy to change them out and no more filling the bag everyday and having to stick your hand in a nasty bin to push the diapers down! I LOVE this item! I highly recommend it!

We like these refills for their ease and large capacity. Yes, it is not so useful to have biodegradable bags if your diapers don't biodegrade. However, we use Seventh Generation diapers that are at least better for the environment (and our babies skin) and may biodegrade better than others? Anyways, it is a little less for the landfill.

These bags are THE BEST!!!! I started out with these (the bags are blue) and after a number of months accidentally bought the white bags. It's hard to know which one's you are buying because the front of the box looks the same. Anyhow, as long as you get the biodegradable bags then you've chosen the right one's.

Not only do these blue bags smell better than the white one's, they also feel more durable, too. The smell is maybe a hint of baby powder...nothing noticeable unless you have the diaper pail open and your nose up to it. Conversely, if you had the white bags, you start to smell diapers every time the trap door opens or you go to change the bag.

Anyhow, if you get the Diaper Dekor with the blue bags, then I'd say you have the best on the market. I'd give it 5 stars by far!!! If you have the same product with the white bags, then I'd only give it 3 stars.

We used the biodegradable bags for more than a year with my now-18 month old son. To be clear, these are the bags that are green in color (as well as environmentally "green"). The nursery NEVER smelled (seriously - once the diaper got rolled up and went into the pail, that was it). We did change the bag almost every night but that's primarily because it was full! [...] The white bags STINK, both literally and figuratively. We noticed from the first time we used one that it was flimsy, did not contain odors (at all) and got more ripe within a couple hours and sometimes less. We buy them because we're stuck with them. Now, after four or five months of using the white bags, the diaper decor plus smells permanently, no matter how often we change the bag and how frequently I wash it down with disinfectant. And, of course, the nursery stinks with it. It's as if the plastic has become infused with the smell of poop. I am seriously considering throwing the whole thing away and starting over with a different brand, [...]

These bags are not really biodegradable. There is no labeling or other proof on the packaging or website that the bags are made from a truly biodegradable plastic as recognized/certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute. Besides, throwing "biodegradable" bags into the landfill defeats the whole purpose. Nothing biodegrades in a landfill—that's the whole point! Don't let these bags make you feel better about throwing away tons of diapers—just get the regular ones.

We have been using these since day one. The last time I ordered I picked the wrong ones and got the white refill instead. By the second day the smell was horrible we couldn't stand it. If we used them for longer then 2 days the bagleaked terribly. We were changing the bags daily. I am ordering these early as we can't stand the other ones and I would rather throw the 1 full refill and the half that we have left then to continue using them! These ones work so much better for us.

We've used this since early on (after the end of the grocery-store-bag phase). It's been largely very reliable, and where there is a smell, it's usually because we've just left it too long. The smell is also usually localized to around a few inches from the bin.

Worryingly, this refill pack is being flagged as discontinued on Diapers.com - wondering whether there is a replacement refill pack coming, or whether they're fully discontinuing the model.
