Love these Diaper Dekor pail liners! They really contain the smell in our diaper pail... in fact it is lightly scented with some sort of baby fresh scent and that's usually the only thing I smell when I open the pail to make another "deposit". The only time it starts to smell (a tiny bit) is when the pail is full and it's time to empty it anyway. Plus, I really like that the liners are biodegradable... I feel like I am doing something good for the planet even though we have chosen to use disposables (we try to use "green" diapers when we can). Easy to change out, and they last a long time before you have to pop in a new liner cartridge.

I think these refill bags are great. I have no problem with the fit and they contain the smell well (unless I need to empty the pail and the little trap door doesn't close all the way, phew!!) They are a little pricey, but I only have to change the bag about once a week, so it evens out. Overall, a good product.

I've been using these refills since my kid was 8 months (now 17), when I discovered the biodegradable kind. They are really easy to put on, even easier to use, and I never so far had any bag ripped (even if my DS jumps on the bag and wrestles with it before throwing it to the garbage :D ).

The smell is not overpowering at all, which I really appreciate now that I'm pregnant again; it does contain the smell of dirty diapers to some extent.

I don't know if the last reviewer was using the adequate refill, maybe s/he has the PLUS pail and not the regular one. I find that this refill always fits without any hassle.

this is my first review and i felt obligated to write it. these refills DO NOT fit!! they definitely don't "slide on" to the insert part of the diaper pail. they stretch and tear. awful.

I regularly use this item. I keep wanting to buy it again and again. I love that the bags are biodegradable. Why can't I buy it, though? [...] Why bother with the non-biodegradable at all? It'd be great if Diaper Dekor just committed to the one kind that is better.

I've used the Diaper Dekor since 2006, so I've used both the old and these new biodegradable refills. Although I'm not thrilled about paying the same price for fewer refills, I'm glad that someone finally thought about making diaper disposal bags that are biodegradable. What's the point of buying Nature Babycare Eco-friendly diapers if you're going to put them inside a plastic bag that won't let them biodegrade? Although these bags do seem a little thinner than the old, non-eco kind, I've never had a rip or even a tear, and I've used these exclusively since they first came out.

I have been using a Diaper Dekor since 2005 (replaced the one we got originally, shortly after Son # 2 was born last year) and I can say without hesitation that the move to the biodegradable bags was NOT an improvement. I have now worked my way through four refill inserts (two boxes) and each and every "sleeve" ripped--either while I was replacing it or while it was being used to hold diapers.

A bag with a big hole in it does nothing to aid the Diaper Dekor in its mission--keeping the odors from permeating the room. Yuck.
