We use this for our kids when they are sleeping in disposable diapers. It works great for all night protection and the jar is much easier and cheaper than buying tubes.

Was using Desitin Rapid relief for prevention since my son was born. My son got a diaper rash at 5month had to used prescription strenght cream to cure it. It went away then came back a month later I decided to try desitin with 40 percent zinc. It is clearing up the rash.

When my daughter was an infant she had diaper rash a couple of times and the first time I tried something different and it took about a week to heal and that included letting her romp around without a diaper in order for it to air out. The next time she got it I started reading the ingredients of all the diaper creams and Desitin Maximum Strength is the only one with 40% zinc in it which her doctor said is what's needed to keep the bottom dry (in addition to changing her regularly)
Once I started using Desitine the redness would be gone within a day.
Now with my son, his bottom is so sensitive I slath this on with each diaper change in order to keep him rash free. It really works!

Most amount of zinc oxide I've found in any ointment. I use vaseline for each diaper change but this stuff is great for rashes. My daughter seems to get a rash whenever teething so I just purchased the tub. Prescription Nystatin is the only thing that works quicker

I've tried many different kinds of diaper cream. This is the one like the best. It works the best for my kids--stays on thick and helps heal diaper rash. And it's easy to wipe off when you need to.

Love these cannisters of Desitin. Keep one by the changing table, which is very easy to use. Use it daily at every diaper change and had great results.

Only got a diaper rash one time in 10 months, and it didn't seem to make it go away as quickly as I might have thought. However, it seems great as a preventative measure.

You can't go wrong with Desitin - when there's a nasty rash, it is always gone in a day or two. I've tried the Butt Paste and liked it, but it wasn't as effective as Desitin on rashes. Only drawback is that it's hard to scrub off your hands, sticks to clothing, and can't be used with cloth diapers.

When baby was having diaper rashes regularly, we found this product to be good at preventing diaper rashes when applied generously at every diaper change. It is also helpful to simply let baby air out without a diaper for a few minutes after a bath and a gentle towel dry.
Now that this stage has passed, we only use it when baby does get a rash, and this product heals the rash quickly.

This is the best diaper cream we have tried! The only downside is that it will dry out your fingers after applying it again and again, and if it gets on your clothes it is hard to get off!
