This is petroleum jelly. Effective for minor, minor skin irritations but doesn't protect adequately to prevent or heal diaper rash. you can by the same product for less.

I like this diaper cream a lot. I received my first tube of it as a shower gift. It's clear and goes on smoothly. It seems to help clear up my daughter's diaper rashes quickly, within a day or two.

This is the best diaper cream out there. I always bought the cheapest, the white cream, and it would get all over everything! (and it does not come out of any fabric). I decided to give this a try, even though it was more expensive, and I am never going back! The clear gel is the way to go if you want a clean, and fast diaper change.

I was told to try this product by my mom while we were shopping for creams after the baby was born. I bought it, but never got around to trying it on my son. After I had the baby, I did have a problem with hemorrhoids briefly. One day it was particularly bothersome. I didn't have anything in the house for big people and thought I'd try some of the baby products. At my baby shower I received butt paste-which all the mothers touted as the best rash cream to use. It wasn't working so great on my baby, but what did I know? Well, I tried the butt paste and it felt like I lit a fire! I washed it off and tried the Desitin Clear and it was instant relief. I don't know of a better way to know what works than by trial and error! So, if my embarrassment is convincing enough to help just one more baby, I'll be happy. Use it!!! Your baby will thank you!!

I can't stand the creams but wanted more than just vaseline... This is the perfect alternative... though I do wish it was a little cheaper since I use it so much. :-)

I LOVE This!! When my son was first born we were using another type of cream. When the teething started he developed awful diaper rash. We could change him the minute he went to the bathroom and it it didn't matter. My cousin sent us some of the Destin Clear and it cleared up his diaper rash almost immediately! Not to mention it helped with his cradle cap. This is the BEST! No stinky smell like others! It's easy to use! It's a great product. When my son first started crawling his knees were so swollen and red from carpet burn, we used this and it was cleared up in 2 days! Try it for yourself and you won't go back to anything else :)

I LOVE THIS!!! It comes right off when you clean your babies bottom!!! It makes babies "#2" come right off with diaper wipe. LOOOVEEE IT!!!!

We've used this from day one and my daughter has NEVER even gotten a red bottom, never mind a rash. It makes clean up a breeze. I would recommend it to everyone! I've tried the others and they don't compare.

I like this product b/c it is thick, clear and smells great. It doesnt have the yucky odor of some ointments and doesn't stain clothing!
