Comments about Parker 4-in-1 Crib - Oak - with Toddler Rail:

We loved this crib style for our first but after we assembled this crib we noticed a chemical/finish smell. We are letting it air out and hoping for the best.
The finish on our first crib was oak and we had no smell but the dings really show. The finish on the natural already has some dings too so I guess color doesn't matter. I figure they'll just add to the history as my kids get older.
The previous crib has really held up well so we will probably exchange it if the smell lingers.
The drawer is pretty cheap, we use it for stuffed animals.
The bolts are visible but that just reminds us to tighten them now and then.

Comments about Parker 4-in-1 Crib - Coffee:

Absolutely love this crib! Crib is very easy to put together. I have 3 of the parker cribs and the only scratches we have on them are from teething. I love the lower scoop in the front so easy to get babies in and out of the crib. I have one flipped to a toddler bed works great. As far as the wider slats I was still able to put up crib bumpers but I guess now they say that crib bumpers smother the baby so I took all mine down. There are different types of baby mobiles the first one I had did not work on the crib, but found a different one with a different base and it works well. I have 3 of these cribs so obviously I am very happy with mine. My mother also has 2 used cribs at her house and they are just as sturdy as the new one. Lots of life to these cribs.

Comments about Parker 4-in-1 Crib - Oak - with Toddler Rail:

This wood does scratch easily - but unless you want to pay MUCH more for a different type of wood this is just something you should expect. My husband and I put this together in about 30 minutes (and I was well over 7 months pregnant). It is beautiful and I like the convenience of the drawer for storing blankets. This crib is very sturdy and I bought a mattress that fits SNUG to the rails (so snug it is difficult to change the sheet - but that makes me feel like my daughter is safer and is a good workout for me). I have the slats protected with wonder bumpers and trend lab crib rail covers to keep the little teeth marks off the wood. Love my baby bed!

      Scratches VERY easily

Comments about Parker 4-in-1 Crib - Cherry - with Toddler Rail:

I have been using this crib for about 20 months. I also bought the dresser and changing table. They look great and are easy to put together. I would definitely think twice before buying again though. They scratch VERY easily all the pieces now look like they are pretty beat up (i bought the cherry color). For the price I was hoping for something I could use for a long time. Also I make sure every so often I tighten the screws because they tend to come a little loose after time.

Comments about Parker 4-in-1 Crib - Cherry - with Toddler Rail:

I loved this crib when I first got it. My son is now in his 2's, I want to keep him in his crib for another year but being a little escape artist he has pulled out some of the slats, I can put them back but they are not secure enough. He pulls them out when ever he feels like it. I do not feel comfortable with this b/c if he was to wake in the morning and not make a noise he could easily sneak out and hurt himself. The picture I have added is not the first slats he has pulled but just the most recent two.

My mom bought this crib as a gift for my first baby. It is just perfect. Beautiful, sturdy, love the color, and can't wait to convert it. My husband and I put it together in about an hour. The under-crib drawer is a bit flimsy but just right for storing extra sheets and blankets. The curved front bar is the absolute best feature, and makes for much more comfortable reaching in to pick up or put down your baby.

Liked this set a lot! We bought the dresser and changing table as well. Everything went together easily. Though my only con would have to be that it scratches VERY easily. Putting it together I inadvertantly put a giant gouge in the back panel. No one can see it, but ...I did it. Also, I will agree with other reviews that the bolts in plain view is not the most attractive thing. Plugs would have been nice. Though, understandbly, those probably shouldn't be included in a baby crib.

It's very elegant and sturdy. I love the finish and it is convertible so i know we will get a lot of use out of it. Only complaint is the wide (but beautiful) slats. As another member mentioned they are too wide to tie on pads etc.. Not really a big deal.

I love the style, color (oak), and quality of this crib! We don't use it a lot because we co-sleep with baby, but we are getting ready to move it next to our bed with the front section removed to begin transitioning her into sleeping in the crib. The only drawback of the beautiful stylish rails is that they are thicker than cheap cribs and therefore difficult to tie crib accessories onto (padding around the sides barely had long enough strings to tie on to the crib). The mobile that we bought did not hook onto the top rail of the crib at all. My husband made a small wood mount that hung above the top edge of the crib to hook the mobile up (see attached picture).

I bought this crib in Natural because Oak was out of stock :( I was actually really sad about this, however, when it arrived the color was much more better than I had expected from viewing the pics. Very easy assembly. My 14 year old put it together. Cant see the bolts as mentioned by another user. [...]. I am very happy with this purchase.

This crib is a good crib for the money. It was fairly easy to assemble considering I don't move around as easily :-). This is a sturdy and safe crib for my little guy. The scoop in the front works well for us shorties too. As for those that have complained about the bolts showing, all I have to say is CHOKING HAZARD! Thankfully the manufacturer realizes that those pretty wood plugs are very easy for little fingers to remove and put in other places they don't belong. I guess I'm just more about safety first. And it's still a good looking crib with the bolts visible.

This crib is beautiful and very functional. Extremely sturdy! The bolts do show but they are big to hold it together very solidly. If there were covers for the bolts, I believe they would be a choking hazard so they do not bother me. The color is gorgeous as I have the oak. Everyone who has seen our new crib comments on how beautiful it is. And I love that there are no wheels so this crib does not move around.

We purchased this crib in the white, which is more of an antique white, which I was hoping for. It is sturdy, strong and looks beautiful. It took us about an hour to put together. The directions were easy to understand and liked that there were pictures that went along with the written explanation. My only dislikes are that the bolt heads show and there are no covers included to hide them. Also, the trundle drawer bottom is made of that cardboard material not wood like the rest of the crib.
