Good TRAINER and cheapest ones available

Comments about Early Trainer Vinyl Training Pants:

These are not diapers, so don't expect them to hold as much/do a diaper's job! There's a reason they are called "trainers." The goal is for the child to feel the wet and either run to the potty or let you know what is happening. And for this, they are effective and about a quarter of the price of every other reusable trainer out there. They do run small, as do the Dappi fitted diapers, but if you get them too big, yes, accidents could leak out the leg holes if the elastic isn't fitting snugly. Overall, I think this is a good product, especially for the money!

Comments about Early Trainer Vinyl Training Pants:

These are exactly what we needed. They will not be perfect for all phases of pt'ing but they are perfect for our current needs. These will hold one pee without leaking. These are good for the child who cannot make it to the potty in time or is stubborn and will pee in their pants without indicating a need to go to the potty. They're just enough to buy you time to get to the potty without having to deal with an entire change of clothes. We don't have night accidents so these are good for us for nighttime too...they will not be good for the child who pees more than once through the night. I have all the high end training pants like Ecoposh and Blueberry trainers, but we needed something that would prevent clothes/furniture from getting wet . I've already bought 4 pkgs and I'm back to buy 4 more!

Leaks with every "accident", I might try adding a liner to see if we can get through a night with no leaks.

Comments about Early Trainer Vinyl Training Pants:

I bought these because I just can't find plain old cotton underwear for my 18 mo (the ones they sell on this site are "not available for my zip code :(
When I took these out of the package I instantly regretted my purchase, the vinyl smell was awful. I had to wash them 3 times and leave them outside in the wind and sun to get rid of the smell. You don't have to google far to see how toxic vinyl is - definitely not what you want your little one in. Skip these ones.

Comments about Early Trainer Vinyl Training Pants:

I bought these for my potty training 2 year old who weighs 27 pounds. She tried them on and then announced that they were too tight so she immediately took them off and threw them down. I bought the next size up, but we abandoned them for two reasons. (1) They were super noisy, so if she ran around they made loud crinkling noises, which I think she found embarassing (or maybe just I did!) (2) When she had an accident, we couldn't tell, and she didn't care, so it didn't help with potty training. Once we started letting her wet her pants, she quickly realized she didn't like that, so potty training was very smooth after that.
