Comments about Placemat - Solar System:

We have four of these placemats. The illustrations are so cute and fun and I love that they come with extra tidbits of information about the subject so my son and I can have discussions about what is going on in each one. The maps have been good as visuals to understand the different places friends and family live. The outer space mat is my son's favorite and he has had fun memorizing different facts about space he didn't know before. These mats are fairly durable and easy to clean but I recommend only wiping them with the soft side of a sponge because they do scratch up pretty easily. We have two that are about a year and half old and they are quite faded and scratched now but otherwise fine.

It's a great little place for my son to keep his snacks on the coffee table, so he knows where his food should be, and makes meal clean up a lot quicker. The bright colors are engaging and the mat can be used to teach him all about our solar system, providing yet another opprotunity for play and leanring.
