The bib must be hung up to dry or else mold will grow in the cloth backing (all plastic bibs do not have this problem). Because of this problem, we only use this bib at home. The front pocket also is sewn tight against the bib so it does not pop out/open like other bibs - the pocket is useless at catching food mess.

This is not good quality material--the 2 pieces of material (clear coating and dinosaur material) separated within about 2 weeks of use. Started smelling bad quickly and not machine washable. I ordered 2 at the time and they've lasted 3 months and smell so bad I can't use them in good conscience. The bumkin bibs last much longer.

This bib is not machine washable. You can wipe it clean with a washcloth sort of, but food can get stuck in the "catch-all" and the only good way to clean it is in the washer. I've washed it once and it got bubbly and doesn't look nice at all. I would never buy this one again. If you are looking for something that is easy to wipe off most of the time, and yet can be thrown in the washer as needed, buy a Marimekko bib. It's the greatest gift we have been giving.
