I like the big 4 color pan - because it encourages more color mixing to get theother colors - and this pan lasts longer with my kids - who otherwise run out of red too quickly and are dissatisfied with all the other colors.

My 19 month old son loves to do art projects and the extra big colors help him pick which color he wants without mixing them up like the smaller trays do. We spritz the colors with a spray bottle to keep the color moist without the mess of having a cup of water to spill.
