This humidifier is very cute and when it's running fine it's good. However, we are about to be on our third unit. The first one never worked since when we first took it out of the box. And now the second one just stopped working for no reason. On the plus side the customer service is very nice and have replaced the defective units. Fingers crossed the third one will last us longer then another 3 months... I would recommend finding a more reliable product.

I purchased same model two years ago; it was fantastic. This one will be returned. It appears switch does NOT work. It took three days for the 1 gallon tank to be utilized. Other reviews indicate similar issues.

This humidifier is cute and my daughter loves adjusting the fog as it comes out of the penguin BUT I cannot recommend it. You must be able to really clean a humidifier so that bacteria isn't circulating through your sick child's bedroom. The water tank is covered with a 1 1/2 inch diameter cap. There's no way to actually scrub the inside of the water tank after using it. That's not good design.
