I know these are supposed to be the best out there, but I just don't see it. Sure it's cute, but it's SO hard to clean, the well that holds the water is all full of nooks and crannies that get pink slime and hard water scale and parts of it are all but unreachable. And if it's that dirty, isn't all of that getting into the air? Also, they seem to think that not having a filter makes it better, but I like the filter, doesn't that keep everything cleaner?

I really like this humidifier. It super easy to use and put together. I wish I didn't get water everywhere when I try to refill the tank, but other than that it's super easy to refill. It place the humidifier on top of something for elevation, but not wood or on carpet. Uhh, then where? I still put it on a night stand with a towel under it, and that seems to be fine. I have had no problems, and it's been running for 3 months now.

4 Nights ago I got the penguin Crane at 10:00 PM at night. Set it all up plugged it in and it didn't turn on :(. Next day I returned and got the Elephant Crane. It worked great then 4 hours later I noticed water was all over the base of it. I put diapers around it to soak up the water, because we really needed the humidifier on. Then an hour later the steam stopped. After that I had to continuously empty the base that the water tank sat on. I also noticed that the tank had hairline cracks in it, which was not there when I purchased it but over 2 days they apprear. This is a cute looking humidifier, when it works the mist is great. Guys I'm 2 for 2 on this product, it's made wayyy to cheap don't waste your money. Having sick family members is enough to deal with :) Good luck

This product works great, bought this in place of our other humidifer. After only having this in my sons room for a couple days his chest congestion away and is not coughing anymore. Seems to work a lot better than the other one.

I had the pig one for 2 years, and I like to replace these every 2 years or so. I didn't have any problems with it. This season I bought the elephant, and it stopped working. I returned it, and bought another elephant, and just recently stopped working again!

Item was inexpensive and cute for kids room. Did not work at first but emptied out the water and refilled it and it started to work. Have not had any problems since. Been using it nightly for about 1 month. Cord is very short so must have plug nearby the place you want to place it.
