I bought this humidifier after having two failed attempts at another humidifier. It works great, has several settings and most importantly, it doesn't leak. Too bad they don't make it in different colors.

Bought this humidifier, which worked well for a few days (it was quiet, except for occasional trickling of water sound which was not bothersome, and ran well in adding moisture to the room). We were using/running it in the baby's room at night time. About 3-4 nights in, a minute or so after turning it on, it would start making a fairly loud, constant rattling/buzzing/rumbling sound which is highly annoying. Went online to research and it seems like this is not an uncommon problem that other people have reported as well. We are thus returning this item as it is definitely not "whisper quiet" (at least not after the first few days). Disappointed -- it was good while it worked properly.

This humidifier was fantastic for three months, and then it just died. It still makes noise like it's working, but no more mist. Very disappointed, especially considering it's not one of the cheaper ones.

We've tried all sorts of them and we LOVE this one! We love the cool mist and we REALLY LOVE that we only have to fill it every other night. I love it so much I just got online to order another one for my second child's room. The cute animal ones work fine, but this one trumps them with it's extended use. The cool mist is also a big plus because our 3 year old every once in a while gets curious and that Vicks Warm Mist one gets warmer than we'd like for her to be putting her hand in. The ONLY thing we've found wrong with this one is that where you unscrew it to put the water in they have the "On" arrow pointing in the wrong direction - so we have to turn it towards "Off" to screw it on and towards "On" to unscrew it. Totally no biggie once we figured it out.

I bought this for the bedroom when winter came. My baby was waking up with a "crusty" nose and kind of wheezy. This helped right away and he sleeps better. Besides that, the room feels warmer with the moisture in the air. My husband doesn't cough at night anymore either.

It wasn't as "Whisper quiet" as I expected.. but it's not really that loud either. We usually run a fan so the noises kind of blend together.

I have a normal double basin sink and have no trouble filling it. I keep an old toothbrush by the sink, everytime I fill it, I scrub off the white dust build-up.

So far it's still working after 2 months of use. This is the second humidifier I've purchased, as the first one (different style) started making weird sounds after only two months of use.
This is an effective and very quiet humidifier. However it is bulky and hard to fill if you don't have a big kitchen sink. Not super easy to clean either but since it works well I'll still recommend it.
