I use these wipes with every dirty diaper change. They are very soft and clean my baby's bottom very well. However, with larger messes I use a thicker, more absorbent wipe before this one. The flannel material is pretty thin, so if I don't use a thicker wipe first the mess will seep right through the wipe onto my hand. The thinness of the wipes is very handy for cleaning all the cracks and crevices in the diaper area, though, so no complaints about that. My main dislike is that they all have tags on them, which is a pain because I have to remove them to prevent the tags from rubbing and irritating my baby's delicate skin.

I am not impressed with these wipes. We had some bum genius wipes and I thought, by the looks of the photo, that we were ordering the same thing. After carefully reading the tag, we have the bamboo wipes, which are by far superior. These get stuck together when folded in the wipe warmer and are difficult to separate when you are trying to get it out of the warmer while changing the baby. They are not as soft and they pill just like normal fleece after washing. They also seem to leave cotton balls behind after wiping.

These diaper wipes work just fine to get the job done as I'm sure most cloth diaper wipes do. I keep them in my diaper warmer- and love this (wish I would have purchased that sooner). The wipes have so far held together nicely through the wash. However, I purchased a pack of very inexpensive flannel baby blankets, cut them into squares and stitched the edges-- this made twice as many cloth wipes for a fraction of the cost. But, if you don't have the time or don't want to make your own, these are a decent deal.

Ok, the reason there are such mixed reviews on these wipes is that it depends on the batch you get! I have ordered these wipes 4 different times and, twice, I got the REALLY great, soft wonderful ones (which are the ones that get the 5 stars), and the other 2 times (ordering the exact same product number), I received the ones that other moms are describing as "hard" and not "absorbent at all". The soft ones really are the best cloth wipes I have ever tried, but if you DO get a bad batch (which I did 2x), then yes, they are awful on your baby's bottom and I ended up using them for washing dishes and cleaning the bathroom. I wish there were a way to distinguish between the two different batches, but from my experience, it seems to be a gamble!

My new DD has very sensitive skin, we tried 3 different wipes but they all cause her a serious diaper rash. I had these on my registry and tried them on a whim, they helped so much I ordered 4 more packs so I could cut back on how often I need to wash them.

bumgenius diapers are my favorite diaper. i LOVE them, so i was so excited to try these wipes. i was SO disappointed. they were harder than other brands to absorb water to begin with, and the material almost looks like it's "shedding." also, they are not as soft as other brands. don't waste your money. (buy fuzzibunz wipes!)

I have been cloth diapering for 9 months so far and finally comitted to cloth wipes as well. These are a great filler to my stash of homemade wipes (from flannel receiving blankets) and other puchased cloth wipes (babykicks). The are a good size and The sides do roll but i don't really understand why that would be a problem. I keep mine rolled up in a wipes warmer anyways. This is a good price for how many you get. I would suggest having these, a pack of babykicks, and about 10-20 more homemade wipes and you'll never run out.

I bought these wipes because this site does not sell babykicks baby wipes. I am sorry I did because they are about as absorbent as plastic and they never soften. They do not feel flannel at all. I have been using them for more then 2 months and they are still stiff and rough on my baby's skin.

I wrote a previous review and gave this product 5 stars because I loved the cloths. However, when I ordered more, I received the cloths in a different package although labeled the same. These cloths are different and far inferior quality and DO ROLL up on the edges after washing. WHAT A PAIN! [...]

I love these wipes!! After I received these wipes, I tossed my son's regular bath clothes and starting using these for his baths and face. They are great to use as a wet washcloth; also wonderful to dry with as they are not rough on the baby skin like the towel material. And of course, I use a separate set for his diaper area and they are wonderful there also. I have not have the edge rolling problem that some have mentioned. Definitely thing to get for baby's soft skin!

I absolutely Love these wipes, they are so soft and very absorbent. I've used other wipes and these I have to say are by far the best ones I've used. They was very well and haven't had a problem with them rolling up on the sides or corners.

when they first arrived they were alittle rough but after washing them they got a little softer! they do their job so i wont complain.

I LOVE these wipes. They're incredibly soft and extremely absorbent! It's very easy to wring out ALL the water, so just make sure you don't squeeze it all back out after wetting. :)

I use these with the Prince Lionhart Warmies Wipe Warmer. I don't like the Warmies though....not soft and too big to get in and wipe all the skin folds well.

My 1 month old daughter is very prone to diaper rash, so we had to switch to cloth wipes & water. Made a world of difference! These are so soft on her skin & I don't have any of the harsh chemicals now. Even when she's a little older and her skin isn't so sensitive, I'm sticking with these!

A couple comments about previous reviewers' comments:

I also recommend several packs for a breastfed baby. I go through so many diaper changes a day that I have 4 packs. After using, I just rinse them out, stick them in a 'wet pail' and build up enough to do a small load. Otherwise, it's such a waste running the washer/dryer for 24 tiny wipes.

I don't know if it makes a difference but like the previous reviewer, the ones I bought also said assorted colors (although the ones I received were all natural color) and I have no problems with absorbency at all. They're extremely absorbent!

I love these wipes, I was grossed out by the amount of regular wipes we were going through and although I don't use cloth diapers, I was glad to add a little less to my waste each day.
These are soft, have washed well and I find that I only need one for each diaper change.
Just logged on to buy another pack! You definitely need more than one pack if you are changing a breastfed baby.
We use regular wipes at night right now so I don't have to get up to wet them, but if I can figure out how to get them to work in my wipes warmer we may get rid of them altogether.
These would also be really nice washcloths, I find most baby washcloths are too rough, even the high quality ones, my son doesn't like the terry looped side. I wish they made them in a 2nd color so you could have one for faces, one for bottoms.
