Cosco APT 40 RF Convertible Car Seat - Abbey Lane

I got this for my 11 month old. It seems very safe, you can't go wrong on the price, it is very bucketed and the sides are high so she has trouble seeing out but I know she is very safe!

I think I am spoiled by my expensive Britax carseat. We bought this as a carseat for our 2nd car. I read reviews on this carseat and felt convinced that this seat was just as safe as more pricey alternatives. The seat can be installed either with latch or by pulling the seatbelt through. Our Britax seat has clamps inside the carseat that hold onto the seat belt. This seat just has a hole to pull the belt through. Even with pulling the belt snug, the seat can be jostled around. The Britax, when installed correctly, can not be moved. We have old cars without latch capability so I can't speak to that. This seat is really light which is a plus in some regards, but I wonder if it is just as sturdy during an accident compared to our heafty Britax. I trust that this seat is safe (I know it passed testing), but I can't really believe that it is just as safe as our Britax. I guess you get what you pay for.

The carseat fits well in my small car, my daughter sits comfortably and is safe in there. I will never go for other more expensive option out there. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
