We got this mattress for our babies crib after realizing that the standard sized one a friend had given us was a bit too small for our sons crib. Our crib is a Young American crib, which is nice and wide but once the baby started rolling I knew we had a problem. He almost got stuck between the mattress and the side of the crib. Thank goodness for video monitors! This mattress fits much more snug. One side seems to be a bit too soft for right now, as he isn't that great at rolling to his back once he gets stuck on his stomach. I am sure that when he is stronger this won't be a problem at all. We flipped it to the firmer side for now. He has been sleeping much better at night on this mattress. He use to wake up every few hours, but since getting this mattress he sleeps a good 6 or 7 hours before he wakes to eat. LOVE it! Very happy with this product.
