This monitor is easy to use and takes all the guess work out of regular OPKs. Once it is all set up, it tells you exactly when you need to use a test stick. You set your average wake-up time to test with your first urine in the morning and the monitor automatically gives you a 6 hour window (3 hours before and 3 hours after your set time) for testing. That alone makes this monitor SO much easier than temping and charting.

The only downside with this monitor isn't with the product itself, but with the description on the site. NOWHERE in the description does it say the test strips and batteries aren't included. The only way you will find this info is if you zoom in on the picture of the box. There is fine print at the bottom. You have to start monitoring within 5 days of the start of your period. I received this on day 4 so I was left running from store to store looking for a place that carried test sticks, which completely defeated the point of ordering it. At one point, 10 sticks were included, but not anymore. I'm fine with having to buy them but I wish I knew so I could have ordered them at the same time.

Okay...I have never written a product review in my life...but felt compelled to write one about the clear blue easy digital fertility monitor. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for about a year. One of my friends told me about this product and the success they had with it. We decided to purchase one. The first month using it we conceived! Wish I would have bought it months ago. Best decision ever! Definitely recommend to anyone. Worth the money!

We got pregnant the first time without this monitor so quickly. So when we went for #2 when our daughter turned one, we were dissapointed after 10 months and nothing. I got this monitor in January 2009, and got a postive test April 1st 2009. We're waiting for my husband to return from a deployment then we'll be using this monitor to try and concieve baby #3! I LOVED this, it's so worth the money!

Had heard (and read) the testimonials, and I am not kidding you. First try and we're pregnant! In my 30s, thought we'd buy the monitor and save some time ... lots of time indeed. On a side note, diapers.com is unreal. [...] I have never used this site, but clearly have a need to now. Both the Clear Blue monitor and diapers.com were FANTASTIC!

I used this for 2 months before getting pregnant, and I am considering the first month was the monitor's "learning time" when it learns your cycle. It works great, is easy to use, and I'm planning on using it again this fall when we go for #2 :)

I was using an ovulation predictor kit for 2 months in a row with no sign of ovulation. I purchased the Clean Blue Fertility Monitor and used it for 3 months. Turns out I was ovulating at all different times in the month. I got pregnant on month 3 of using the monitor! Who knows how long it would of took for me to get pregnant without it, considering ovulation predictor kits tell you to start testing on day 11 and the month I got pregnant I ovulated on day 10! I might of still been trying to get pregnant if not for this monitor. Don't waste your money on predictor kits. This is the real deal and so easy to use and worth every penny!

For women with "normal" cycles, this monitor works remarkably well at predicting when you will ovulate. The only way to know for sure that you actually did ovulate is to track your basal body temperature. You will see a temperature spike the day following ovulation (this is due to the increased progesterone secreted at the time of ovulation). I used this monitor for two cycles and saw a temperature spike the day following the first "peak" reading. Also, I got pregnant the second month. So, it seems to predict ovulation remarkably well. The users who are dissatisfied seem to base that dissatisfaction on the fact that they're not pregnant. If you don't ovulate, this machine won't make that happen! To the reviewer who has 50 day cycles and was upset that she never got a peak reading, did you read the instructions that said the monitor will only work if your cycles are less than 42 days? To the reviewer who's doctor told you that if you have a "period" you ovulated, I think you need to see a new doctor because that is simply inaccurate.
