This hat is very cute & very well made -- I bought one for each of my 3 kids. That said, it is not for super hot & sunny days. The material is too heavy and the hat is not that breathable. I think this hat will be perfect for warm & sunny spring and fall days; it's just too well made for scorching summer days!

The quality of this hat was terrible. The stitching was awful, falling apart in some places, missing in some areas, stitches overlapping in others, threads hanging off. [...] Another issue, the size says 0-6 months, but the hat is way too big for my average sized 2-mo old. Perhaps 3-6 mos is a more fitting size range.

We got this as a shower gift. I love it. I use this hat for the beach, park and all other out door time. I have the medium sized hat and my son is 6 mo. it fits him well. I think I will need the larger size soon. I have read other reviews that the hat runs small, so I would go a size larger than the age rec.
