Not only is this a top rated infant carrier for safety but there is also some very nice features on this seat,the car seat has a thick padding and would be very comfortable for any baby and the material is also very durable,there is a visor which initially appeared to be too small but actually there is a hidden breathable canopy extention that easily pops out for added protection and easily goes back in which is one of my favorite features about this car seat,I was debating between a maxi cosi infant carrier and this chicco and after seeing them in person at a store immediately chose this one because the overall quality of this car seat and is worth the price tag,Ive read reviews on lots of websites and one constant compalint was the weight of this car seat,it may be a few pounds heavier however I still had a graco snugride infant seat from my previous baby and honestly there is not a big difference and installation is pretty simple and the base has a level indicator so that you know that the seat is sitting in the proper position,I would reccomend this car seat to anyone
