I had to reorder this carseat because my 3 month old son was in his car seat when a 10 point buck hit our car and we were going 55 mph. Due to safety reasons, we had to reorder a new carseat since it was involved in a car crash. Besides glass throughout our entire car (and on my son!) this carseat did its job and my son was safe. Just to give you a heads up-when ordering this carseat- IT COMES with the base! Don't order a separate base for it. I realized that after I got the carseat and base shipped to us. I have to return the base since it was included in this carseat.

We purchased this seat for our second child after being frustrated with the overall quality of a Graco. In the past we have owned the Graco infant seat and several Britax convertibles and boosters. While we love the Britax seats we decided to take a chance and try this Chicco out based on the ease of installation, what a great choice. The seat installs in seconds, it took longer to unpack it then it did to install it. Also, the seat itself is very well built yet lightweight, and the padding/materials are second to none by being easy to clean, stylish, and prove to have great head/neck support for a newborn. The complaints of it being heavy are coming from left field, this is lighter then our prior Graco. I would recommend this seat to anyone.

Finally, Diapers.com is spot on with customer service. We met some difficulties with a separate product and after a very short phone call we came to resolution and having nothing but positive things to report with regards to Diapers.com and their after-the-sale service. Thank you!

This is a great seat. IT is a bit heavy, but I think that just reflects the quality and safety so not a problem. I do have 2 dislikes about this seat. The first being the sun shade only adjusts so far and I wish it moved better. The second is the material doesn't breathe at all so it's normal for my baby to have a soaked back from sweating. Overall though I would recommend this seat.

We bought this car seat and matching stroller when our daughter was born. We read the reviews and felt confident that it was the safest car seat for our baby. Our daughter is now 13 months old and was still using it. This last week, we were in a pretty bad car accident. I received most of the injuries but my daughter did not get one single injury. We have to buy a new car seat and we are definitely buying this one again. We wanted the safest thing for our child and this last week proved that chicco keyfit 30 is the safest. I hope no parent ever has to experience being in a car accident with their baby, but just in case you do, buy this car seat!

I love this car seat because it is very safe and comfortable for my little guy. We bought an evenflo infant carseat with our first and it was HORRIBLE. It reclined awkwardly and would flop my newborn's head forward. Someone had to sit in the back seat with him the whole time to hold his head up. This carseat offers great support.

On other sites people mentioned the cons to this car seat are: A) it makes baby too hot. - We didnt have this issue. Just dont over dress the little baby.B) It doesnt attach to the top of grocery carts. - You really shouldnt do this anyways as it is very dangerous and not recommended.

I had to buy a Carseat set on my 3rd child bc the one I had was too old and starting to fall apart. I was recommended a Chicco Carseat. I am soooooo happy w the purchase! Even though we could have gotten something a bit cheaper, Chicco was far better than the other brand I had used. Easy to install, easy to use, baby fits snug and comfy in it, etc. Great product!
