This is one of the safest and easy to use systems I have found. When I got my car seat approved, the lady at the hospital was impressed with this system. Both the ease of the install, and the easy click when loading the car seat. It is great to have an extra base handy so that you can travel in multiple vehicle without re-installing the base each time.

We just purchased a 3rd base for our nanny. The Chicco system has been great and has helped us get out and about as quickly as you can with a newborn. It is a good value considering that we will use everything for our subsequent children.

It's great to be able to buy additional car seat bases, however Chicco's are far more expensive that bases for any other car seat. I can't complain about the money spent for the actual travel system because it IS wonderful, but the cost of the base was a little more than I felt was necessary.

When we visited family over the holidays, we borrowed this carseat base and carseat from friends. We use the Graco snugride at home. The snap-in carseat didn't seem as soft as the Graco, but the base was SO MUCH easier to install. With our Graco, my husband has to install it with a whole lot of elbow grease, making it really difficult to switch between cars if needed. This was so easy, I could do it. Very easy to get tight to the car and a snap to take out and move to another vehicle. If I had it to do over again, I would get this instead of the Graco.

This base allows us to lock our car seat into place. It provides reassuring clicks so that we know the car seat is secure. Both my husband and I have bases for our cars, and they are very easy to use. The base provides reassurance, with a bubble reading showing whether or not the car seat is correctly positioned on the base.
