I heard the size runs small, so I got the next size up, and it was almost perfect. The feet were a little too big for the relative size of costume. So I pinned the backs of them to keep them on. I guess you could also put shoes on your baby under the costume feet. But not in Southern California. It was super hot here on Halloween.
On that subject, I liked the versatility of being able to wear a onesie, or long sleeves underneath, or just a diaper. I just had him in a diaper, and he was fine with the heat, even with the feet, and hood on.

Everyone thought my son was such an adorable monkey, thinks to ths costume. The pieces were thin and lightweight so it did not make my son feel uncomfortable. I was worried he wouldn't want to wear it, but he had no issues with it. The bottom opens up with snaps and is perfect for changing the little ones.

It is cute but doesn't look like a monkey. People said mouse, BEAR but not monkey. Is cute though.

I tried this on my 6 month old. It is made of lightweight material that allows the baby to move and easily fits over clothing. Not bulky at all. Fits like a sleeper!!!

This monkey costume is so cute! The only problem I have is trying to keep the feet on because they're pretty big. My son is 4 months old and he's really big for his age but the 0-6 month costume is still pretty big on him. It will be fine, but if you have a baby on the smaller side, it may be too big.

This costume is very cute and will allow my little guy to wear it for a while. It is big, but it can be worn now. It has a plastic smell and needs to air out before he wears it though.

Super cute and a no fuss costume for my little one! It is really soft, more than I expected. Can't wait for Halloween!

The costume is very cute. My son is 15 months old and it fits him perfectly. He is on the bigger side as well, so I imagine this costume would run very big for any younger/smaller children. The footsies do not stay on. The elastic bands on the top or so big that they slip off every time he's had the costume on.

My 2 year old is 36 inches and this size 2-4 just barely fits. I will be returning it and have ordered the next size up (child size small).

I've tried it on my 11 month old son, he seems comfortable in it. The top with the ears ties nicely under chin so he can't pull it off. The back though is a little open, but nothing that would deter me from buying the product again. Its a cute outfit overall. Great fast shipment and at a good price.

I baught this costume for my 14 weeks old son after looking everywhere for a monkey costume that didn't look cheap and stupid. I ordered it on a Friday and receaved it the very next day on Saturday, wich was awesome, and the shippiong was free. I put it on my son right away and it look exactly like the picture. The material is really soft on the out side and comfy on the inside but not as soft as the outside. I ordered it in a size 0-6 months and it is a tad bit big but will be perfect over some warm sweats and sweater. It comes as a four piece. A body suite, a head piece, and two botties wich will be perfect over his shoes. I completely love this product and recammend it highly. You will be very pleased with this product. It is so cute on my son!

This is a very cute costume, but it's poor quality and the brown fur sheds all over the place, but you're likely just using it one time, so who cares? It runs pretty big. I bought the 0-6 month size for my 8 month old girl who is 15.5 lbs and it fits perfect with a little room. because the feet are not attached, your baby's height isn't so much the issue. if you are debating between smaller or larger, go with the smaller size. Plus, you can always return it if it doesn't fit. the feet are ridiculously big though - it's almost like this manufacturer only made one size feet regardless of costume size.

This will be perfect for our baby's first Halloween. We live in TX so the thin material will hit the spot for layering. Some of the other costumes are too thick and would overheat him.

Got the 0-6 mo size for my son last Halloween. He was 3 months old so it was expected to be a little large but it was huge. I ended up rolling up the legs and safety pinning the feet to them long enough to get some pictures.

The body and hat fit him at 10 months (tried on to see if it fit) but the feet were still way too large. The feet look like they would fit 3T almost.

This is a very cute costume, but it is very large. My daughter is 4 months old and pretty tall, but the leg length and feet are HUGE. I ended up rolling the legs up and tucking them into the feet, and using diaper pins to keep the feet attached.
It also is not made of a material appropriate for an infant. It sheds a lot, and she ended up with it stuck to her face, neck, and hands- who knows how much she actually swallowed!
For the price, I expected much better fabric. On the plus side, it does have leg snaps that allow for easy diaper changes.
