This was a great, although short term, investment. Worth the money spent even though it was worn for such a short time. I live in the Northeast and the only downside was the costume was a bit warm and my LO got pretty overheated quickly. BUT it was also unseasonably warm that day.

We bought this costume for our baby's first Halloween. We put it on and she was absolutely adorable. However, we soon noticed the costume was shedding and shedding so badly we had to immediately take it off. It shed horribly on everything it touched and worst of all it came out in clumps and covered her hands which, of course, spend a lot of time right now in her mouth. Unfortunately we didn't get to show her off like we wanted and definitely spent some time worrying about what she possibly ingested. Returned item and sent pictures. Very disappointed in product.

very cute but sheds a lot. my son had hairs all over his hands from touching the costume. we did wash the costume beforehand hoping it would alleviate some of the shedding. we only put on the costume for a few pictures. wouldn't wear it longer, unless you want your child eating lots of hairs.

I got this costume for my baby last year, it was a liitel big, but it is very cute! He was looking amazing with a banana in his hand! Love it!!!!

Normally I don't write reviews, but I bought this costume last year and just saw it posted again so I wanted to save other people some aggravation. To start, this costume is very cheaply made - thin material, loose threads and shed everywhere. The tail was too long so my 18 month old son kept tripping on it. The feet also caused him to trip so we took them off. Finally, this looks nothing like a monkey. My son looked like an uncomfortable mouse. He was totally miserable wearing this. Luckily we had a test run a week before Halloween so I was able to get him an adorable, well made, inexpensive costume from Old Navy in time for the big day!

I heard the size runs small, so I got the next size up, and it was almost perfect. The feet were a little too big for the relative size of costume. So I pinned the backs of them to keep them on. I guess you could also put shoes on your baby under the costume feet. But not in Southern California. It was super hot here on Halloween.
On that subject, I liked the versatility of being able to wear a onesie, or long sleeves underneath, or just a diaper. I just had him in a diaper, and he was fine with the heat, even with the feet, and hood on.

Everyone thought my son was such an adorable monkey, thinks to ths costume. The pieces were thin and lightweight so it did not make my son feel uncomfortable. I was worried he wouldn't want to wear it, but he had no issues with it. The bottom opens up with snaps and is perfect for changing the little ones.

I tried this on my 6 month old. It is made of lightweight material that allows the baby to move and easily fits over clothing. Not bulky at all. Fits like a sleeper!!!

This monkey costume is so cute! The only problem I have is trying to keep the feet on because they're pretty big. My son is 4 months old and he's really big for his age but the 0-6 month costume is still pretty big on him. It will be fine, but if you have a baby on the smaller side, it may be too big.

This costume is very cute and will allow my little guy to wear it for a while. It is big, but it can be worn now. It has a plastic smell and needs to air out before he wears it though.

The costume is very cute. My son is 15 months old and it fits him perfectly. He is on the bigger side as well, so I imagine this costume would run very big for any younger/smaller children. The footsies do not stay on. The elastic bands on the top or so big that they slip off every time he's had the costume on.

My 2 year old is 36 inches and this size 2-4 just barely fits. I will be returning it and have ordered the next size up (child size small).

I've tried it on my 11 month old son, he seems comfortable in it. The top with the ears ties nicely under chin so he can't pull it off. The back though is a little open, but nothing that would deter me from buying the product again. Its a cute outfit overall. Great fast shipment and at a good price.
