This product is a great idea for keeping your baby next to your bed at night !!! It's also very comfy and cuddly for a newborn since I think that keeping them in the crib isnt a good idea because cribs are too big for them . But isnt all that great :( first of all the cover of the mattress its made of polyester which is not soft and cuddly for the baby . And second of all it's not too big and I'm worried that it can't last as long as I wanted to use it for my baby . New sheet for the mattress is a must !!!!

I put baby in basinette & pulled next to my bed at night to make baby within arms reach, but in the safety of his own bed. I also would wheel it into the bathroom while I showered/got dressed and he remained safe/comfortable (out of reach of dogs that wanted to constantly "kiss" him!). Rolls easily. Beautiful piece of furniture. Very classy appearing. Color is pale blue and I would not hesitate to use for a girl as well. Received TONS of compliments from friends/family on this piece.
