I have the 9-month size, and my daugher just turned 9 months. She has been wearing the suit for about 3 months now. It was a little big at first, but still worked perfectly. The sleeves have an optional fold-over the hands if you want to keep those warm. The zipper is durable and doesn't clip the chin like other prams can. Very warm! Just toss in the washer when it needs cleaned, and I dry mine in the dryer, too. Very soft and super cute!

I had my son in November and was so thankful to have this in the newborn size because it kept him nice and warm. You would probably need something thicker if it was a blizzard, but for just average day cold eather it worked great. He looks so cute in it and I got so many compliments when he outgrew it I got the next size up and will continue to do so. It's easy to wash and holds up well from the washer.
