I bought this when DD was a newborn because she had small, dry patches of skin on her arms. I went the natural ingredients route. While it seems to work as a decent everyday lotion the smell is a little strong at first. My husband calls it "hippie" smelling. After an hour or so, it does fade. Her patches went away so the lotion did what is was supposed to do. I wouldn't put it on baby's face, though, because the scent was a little strong. However, it is a good daily moisturizer.
