Beware of ingredients-- cochineal is an insect from which they get the natural color for the toothpaste. It's natural, but I don't want my family brushing their teeth with bug juice! Why couldn't they leave it out? Bye bye Burt's Bees!

This toothpaste is great! My 3 1/2 year old wouldn't brush his teeth becuse he hated the taste of toothpaste, until we found this! He absolutely loves the taste, he brushes his teeth with a smile (a clean one!) and the best part is it's all natural! We love burt's bees!

I bought this for my 9 year old, who doesn't like the taste of kids toothpaste, but tends to like anything in Orange flavor. I was also really excited to try a product that was natural. I had a huge problem with this product, after a few days I noticed that my daughters breath was really bad, I thought she might not be brushing her teeth properly, so I brushed them for her. Even after I brushed her teeth for her, her breath still smelt bad. So I put her back to the regular toothpaste. I actually tried it out on myself, because I hate to throw stuff away, it has a strange aftertaste, not unpleasant just a bit different. But I'll be honest it just didn't make me feel like my teeth were clean. I should also mention that the consistency is very goopy and you must make sure you put the lid on properly as it can get quiet messy.
