Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz:

I use this every day on my 4 month old daughter and I used it when my 4 year old was in diapers as well. I tried everything to get rid of diaper rash on them and NOTHING else worked. I was given this by my sister and it was amazing, the diaper rash went away in a day with both girls! I'm done trying any other diaper creams, I'm hooked! It smells awesome, too, I love smelling her all day long!

Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz:

This product works wonderfully: it stays on well through the entire night, it's gentle enough to use daily (I <3 that the ingredients are so natural!), and it gets rid of any bumps that even slightly threaten to appear on my baby's cute bottom.

The only con--and point-of-interest for new users of this ointment--the oil separates from the rest of the product. So, beware of the clear oil that you squeeze out while leaving the actual zinc oxide cream--the actual diaper ointment--back in the tube. My hubby and I did this for the first several times we used this product on our daughter. We thought the diaper ointment was clear since it kept coming out clear for the first few uses. Then, when the oil apparently ran out, the actual zinc oxide cream started to come out of the tube. When that happened, my hubby and I were both like, "Whoa! What is this stuff? Oh…wait...we weren't even putting the zinc oxide on her all those other times we used this stuff!?" So, yeah, we were basically just oiling our baby's bottom for the first week or so. Oh well, at least she didn't mind since she didn't have a diaper rash at that time :) If she had actually had a rash, and we had simply oiled her bottom, she probably wouldn't have been very impressed :-P

Basically, prior to use you should squeeze the tube vigorously with the lid closed in order to mix the oil and cream.

I tried everything from store bought, to store brand, to home made remedies for my LO's poor sensitive bum. Finally I just happen to notice I got a sample size Burt's Bee's diaper cream as a baby shower gift, and… VOILA! His little bum is all cleared up and any sign of it coming back we apply just a dab and he's all better!

Comments about Burt's Bees Baby Bee Diaper Ointment, 3 oz:

For years I have sworn on Aveeno diaper rash cream. I recommended it to every parent I knew and I always included a tube of it in every baby shower gift I gave. Aveeno makes a great natural product. However, it didn't seem to be 'healing' the worst diaper rash I have experienced thus far. I went through an entire tube of aveeno on a diarrhea rash that was actually pussing and bleeding. And still very little relief. Baby and I were so grateful to discover burts bees. My baby was relieved instantly from the horrible pain she was experiencing. I was very impressed when this rash dissapeared seamingly overnight. I strongly stand behind this product. Well worth the money.

Works really well, not too thick, goes on smooth, is effective, has a nice smell (if you like eucalyptus), and I know that it is a better choice of bum creams for my little one because Burts Bees has a pretty good line of quality natural products!

Burt's is a quality diaper ointment that doesn't irritate my babies' skin. One of my boys has eczema and is super-sensitive. Burt's is thick aand protects well. I do wish it was less expensive. It is difficult to get the last of it out of the wide tube. It used to come in a thinner tube and was easier to squeeze.

I was surprised to learn that a all natural ointment could work so great! Before I tried many products and only found one other ointment that worked with diahrea, but it wasn't natural. After learning how important it is to stay away from chemicals for my children I feel pleased to say this product actually works and works well! It glides on smoothly, a little goes a long way, it smells great, it protects, it wipes off when necessary and it is safe for my little on and the environment!! I can use it as much as necessary without feeling guilty! I won't try anything else!!

My son has eczema, so I use this cream not only for diaper rash, but also on his eczema when it is "weeping". It seems to be the perfect combination of drying and moisturizing. I researched zinc oxide and discovered it is not a problem if he ingests some. In fact, it is often added to food as a source of zinc. I also used it on a little blemish on my face and it really helped.

My friend purchased this diaper cream and I thought- wow [$] for diaper rash cream? Yeah, I was impressed that it was all natural but I have Boudreaux's all natural cream and seemed satisfied with it. But, I'm a momma who likes to try new things, so I bought this cream. I was pleasantly surprised! I love the smell, how long it stays on my little one's bottom & how well it heals! It is cheaper here on diapers.com than where my friend got hers (big red store hehe) so I will probably buy it again, but I will use it sparingly to make it last :) I use it at night with his disposables. During the day we use cloth, so I use the Rash protector spray with the Burt's Bees powder.

Our 9 month old girl had a terrible diaper rash. It was all over, red, raised, angry. We were using Boudreaux's as preventative but obviously it didn't prevent anything. We tried A&D, no change. Our Ped recommended Desitin, no change. Then she recommended a mix of Desitin and bacitracin. Still no change. Then we tried Triple Paste and Lotrimin. A very, very slow change, almost a full week, almost so long that we weren't sure if it was from the TP. We used Triple Paste as a preventative but the rash came back and wasn't going away. TP smears off very easily so if it's not on the skin how can it do anything? Then I saw a review for Burt's Bees. We tried it with Lotrimin and, I kid you not, in 2 days all gone. It stays on the skin between diaper changes creating a barrier. We are using it now as our everyday cream and no sign of rash. It also smells nice and it's so thick you don't have to use a lot of it. I bought 3 more tubes!
