bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds. No more sorting by size or having to carry multiple diapers when going out. Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper* allow you to easily adjust the size of the diaper as your baby grows.

The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler. Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keeps the yuk in and help to keep red marks away. Our unique covered* slot opening keeps your baby protected from moisture.

Comments about One Size Pocket Diaper 4.0 (Snap) White:

I never thought I could cloth diaper but my 16 month old was suffering from bad diaper rashes and nothing was helping so her pediatrician recommended cloth diapers. I thought I would only be able to do it part time with her but these diapers are so easy to use that my daughter hasn't worn a disposable diaper in 2 weeks now! We have had leaks with another major brand but so far I haven't had any leaks with the bumGenius diaper we have, so it's the one we put her in for bed. She's a heavy wetter so we put in both inserts at night. I plan on buying a few more. I love that it will last the rest of her diapering days too. We're already saving so much money.

Comments about One Size Pocket Diaper 4.0 (Snap) Grasshopper:

These are sturdy hardworking diapers. They have a bit of a higher rise than other brands, so they worked on my tall children through toilet training. They are easy to stuff, and seldom leak. I particularly liked how the outer waterproof fabric folds into the top of the diaper, great for preventing wetness from wicking into T-shirts and pants. (Which happens with other brands I use.) I like how the elastic on the legs holds a good seal, but doesn't leave red marks or indentations. I did have to wait till about two months or so for these to be a good fit on my children, but both were on the smaller side. Great value, have been able to use all my snap diapers for over two years each.

These are great, and fairly simple to use. My only complaints are that they sometime leak near the top (on my 3 mo old son), and every once in a while the liner does not agitate out like it's supposed to, so the liner doesn't get dry. However, when the liners do agitate out or I pull them out ahead of time, they are super simple to clean. My favorite is the BumGenius Freetime, because there is no stuffing or removing liners involved.

I bought this diaper with the hopes that we could use it at night time. I wanted to love this diaper so much because it is soooo cute. Unfortunately every time I put this diaper on my son overnight he leaks out the top and side of it. We have tried using both inserts and had the same problem. This diaper may work for during the day, but not at night. We have had much better luck with the Kissaluvs Contour diaper for night time use.

Comments about One Size Pocket Diaper 4.0 (Snap) Grasshopper:

I love these diapers. I did a ton of research on cloth diapers, then bought samples, and these were my favorites the entire time. My daughter is now 16 months and very tall and still has room to grow. We will be getting more and using these for our next baby in a few months as well.

I didn't settle on these until my daughter was 4-5 months old so I can't say how well they fit a brand new baby but even if you have to use disposables for a few months these are worth it.

First of all, the quality is great. Absolutely no problems with the elastic, snaps etc. We also haven't had any issues with staining or fading.

Second, these function better than disposables. Less blowouts, and my daughter sleeps 13 or so hours at night without leaks and we don't even need to use the infant insert for extra absorbancy.

Third, these aren't as bulky as some other cloth diapers. I don't have to worry about shorts or pants fitting over these (although my daughter is very tall/thin so that probably helps).

Lastly, the care for these is really easy. Pre-wash, wash, rinse. I like that the liners hang dry because I try to use my dryer as little as possible and I've read reviews that other cloth diapers (all-in-ones mostly) can take over an hour in the dryer. The liners dry really fast hung up and the inserts only take a little bit in the dryer.

One last thing, my daughter likes these too. She reaches for them when I change her diaper and prefers them to the disposables we occasionally use. She never has diaper rash and even though it regularly gets over 100 degrees here she never has irritation or heat rash where the waistband hits or on her legs.

I really can't say enough good things about these diapers and I recommend them to everyone who is thinking about cloth diapering!

I love bumGenius cloth diapers. I previously used Kushies cotton AIO's. BumGenius are so easy to use. I can load up on inserts for naptimes and nighttimes and they don't leak. The gussets hold in the poo.
Stains come out easily with my natural detergent (although it could also be my steam washer helps too).
They are so cute and love the snaps (don't get the velcro).
The lining in the covers wick moisture away nicely. If he's had a small pee sometimes I just remove the wet insert and reuse the cover with a new insert, it doesn't bother him at all! Haven't had a single rash or even redness and do not have to use protective ointments at all anymore. AMAZING! The price is great and I think it works out to be cheaper then buying a cover and 2 prefold/inserts separately like some systems have you do.
If you have a HEAVY wetter, I would recommend the AIO version for nighttimes... more surface area to absorb liquid. The pocket diapers might not stand up.

Comments about One Size Pocket Diaper 4.0 (Snap) Grasshopper:

I read a lot of reviews before trying out these diapers, along with Fuzzibuns and Rump-a-Roos. The Fuzzibuns fit nice and trim and have cool colors, but are very narrow, hard to adjust, and a pain in the bum to stuff. The Rump-a-Roos are super wide and easy to stuff, but cost much more than bumGenius, and can leak a little through the sewn in tag in the back. I liked bumGenius the best because they are easy to stuff, wash well (I use the bumGenius detergent, and strip once a month. I dry the covers with the inserts on low in the winter, nothing bad happened. In the summer we line dry to save energy), snap very easily (don't get the velcro, they get stuck to everything), are wide enough to grow with the kid, never leak- truly never- we used to leak and blow out of disposables like it was going out of style, are very easy to put on, and look stinkin' cute on your little baby! If you are new to cloth diapering, this is a safe choice to go with. I started my baby at 3 months, and bought 19 diapers. I wash every other day, and it is the perfect amount. (You could probably get away with 18 if you wanted a nice even number :). My boy's diaper rash problems went way down when switching to cloth diapers, but if you do need to use cream, get the disposable cloth diaper liners to protect your diapers. You are spending good money on them and want them to last! (If you have been buying bleach-free diapers, getting a set of these cloth diapers will cost you about 4 months worth of disposables, then you don't need to spend any more money except for occasional liners, woo-hoo!!) For heavy wetters- at night I stuff the insert with 2 hemp soakers. That took care of nighttime leaking, which is the only leaking we've ever had. To store the dirtys, I have 2 Planet Wise wet bags. One large to keep at home, and one medium for the diaper bag. That's all I need for my 19 diapers, and I just wash them with the diapers. Also note that cloth diapers need to be changed a bit more frequently than disposables- about every 2 hours. But each change is free! I used to hate it when my baby pooed when I just put a new disposable on him, thinking, "there goes another quarter, lol!" Hope that answers some questions if you are looking into cloth diapers- I know I needed a little help when I got started!!

These diapers beat the rubber pants off the ol' fold and pin kind! So easy to use. They wash up great, and they are stylish too. My only complaint is that they do not fit infants well (despite the snaps). I might recommend waiting until 3+ months to use. Bulkier than disposables, but totally efficient. If you stick with it, they will pay for themselves in no time. No instructions included, so "newbies" like me might want to look at videos on youtube.

I have prefolds with wraps, homemade AIOs, knickernappy and happy heinies, polar babies, and wool soakers, but Bumgenius can't be beat. They NEVER leak, which even Pampers couldn't live up to. My wee one cries uncomfortably when she's wet but she just wriggles when she wets BGs. They fit great and I love that they are going to last her until potty training. I want to exclusively diaper with BGs when she's older. The fact that I need to line dry the covers is no big deal considering it saves electricity and this is a remarkable product and totally worth keeping the warranty. The snaps make laundering a breeze as well and I like it better than the velcro which ends up getting stuck on things in the wash no matter what. I wish BGs were $10 each

I bought 5 bum genius 4.0 snap close diapers and a set of the Econobum diapers. I use the prefolds from both sets with the bumgenius covers - I only use the econobum covers if the bumgenius ones are dirty. The covers are excellent and have been holding up well. They wash great and dry quickly. The bumgenius prefolds stain easily, but the stains come out if they are left in the sun.The diapers are correct when they say they for 7lbs and up, my son was born 6 lbs 2 oz and I used newborn diapers (disposable) for a couple of weeks until he could wear the diapers comfortably. Just as easy as a disposable!

First time Mom here. Wish I'd switched sooner. I still use disposable diapers for days that were out and about. Overall BumGenius makes the best cloth diaper. I have some other brands that I bought on[@] which are similar. These are my be far my favorite. The snaps are very secure and well placed so that they grow with your baby. I recommend purchasing the disposable liners to help make cleaning #2 diapers easier. Also the BumGenius brand powdered detergent has been great.

This is a wonderful product. I haven't had any of the washing issues another reviewer mentioned, I don't follow the instructions exactly but I haven't had any issues after 6 months of use. I would recommend a diaper sprayer- either the bum genius one, or my handy husband made me one out of a dish sprayer. We didn't use it until our daughter started solids, but now it is invaluable. For washing, I use Charlie's soap and occasionally a vinegar rinse. I wash in a front loader, but all it takes to get squeaky clean is one round on the heavy duty cycle. They dry so fast, much faster than our prefolds, and always come out bright white.

The only advice I would give is to not rely on them to diaper a newborn- our daughter was 6 lbs 9 oz, and she could not use them for about a month. It may be different if your baby is chunkier though.

I have tried lots of other brands of pocket diapers, as well as all in ones, prefolds, fitteds, etc. and these are my FAVORITE!!!

My little skinny-legged man usually leaks out of cloth diapers when worn all night, but I was pleasantly surprised by these. I've experimented with a few different brands of pocket diapers, and these are my favorite so far. They're super easy to wash and the pocket is easy to stuff last minute if I forget beforehand. I love having these diapers when little man and I are out and about becauase they're as simple as carrying disposables. Big fan!

I love these diapers. My son has used both the 3.0 and 4.0. They fit very well and they wash well too. Don't forget to use an "all natural" soap to wash (ie, Charlie's or Allens, etc...) Other wise they will be water repellant (not good for a diaper.) My only thing was that when I double lined the diapers at night for my son between 3-8 months old, the elastics would leave red marks around this chubby thighs. So when I switched him to disposables if I changed him out and about, he would end up w/ red chaffed skin. I think it's just because my baby was a "Michellen tire baby" and was very chunky, this is partly why the elastics were squeezing his thighs. Good news is NO LEAKS!!!! So I haven't gotten to use these up for potty training yet, but they're in great shape for the next baby due in June.
