Comments about Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

Love this stroller. Great big sun shade, reclines all the way, switch forward and backwards facing. If it had better wheels, like on the indie, it would be perfect. The second you hit anything other than smooth pavement, the wheels flip out and you stop short.

Comments about Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

I got this stroller because I wanted an adjustable handlebar which flipped and the ability to clip the infant carseat into it. 2 great pros. But I can't say there is anything else I like about it. Once you use it a few times it's enough to make you crazy!

I would use it more often if it was easy to move around. Every time I go for a walk around the town I constantly have to watch for even the smallest bumps or uneven sidewalk because it gets stuck on EVERYTHING.

I only had it a few months when the plastic piece broke which keeps the stroller locked closed. So now it won't stay shut.

The quality of the headrest and the shoulder pads is very poor. I bought different ones.

Now that it is winter, the wind comes straight in through where the cover snaps to the backrest.

The storage basket is too small for me to even put my diaper bag in.

I would have bought another stroller but I guess I'll just wait until my 2nd comes along and I'll put the $ toward a good double stroller.

Comments about Flyer Stroller - Spice (Closeout):

I love this stroller! My favorite thing is the handle that reverses. You can either have your baby face you or look out at the world. It's super quick and easy, too. When he was in his infant car seat + stroller base, I loved interacting with him. So, when I saw this as a feature on the Flyer, I knew I'd like it. It had everything else that I liked too: cool design, fun colors and reclining seat. It's relatively compact and lightweight. One downside is that folding it is a little tricky at first and it takes up quite a bit of trunk space.

Bumbleride's customer service is great! I called with a few questions on how to assemble the stroller and the person who helped me on the phone was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

it's like no other stroller out there!

Comments about Flyer Stroller - Seagrass:

So I did a lot of research when picking out a stroller. We live in a smallish apartment in the city, in a building with no elevator, so it was important that the stroller was lightweight. We also wanted a versatile handle that adjusts to height (husband is significantly taller than myself), and one that can face the carriage as well as push it from behind. This stroller offered all those things and then some.

The large canopy blocks out most of the sun, and when it doesn't, all I have to do is flip the handle (i.e., reverse the carriage position), and voila, the baby faces away from the sun.
Our boy is fussy about strollers, carseats, anything where he has to be strapped in, and after some time getting used to this stroller, he's pretty comfortable. So much so that he regularly falls asleep in it, and all I have to do is adjust the seat into a lying position and presto, it's perfect carriage for a nap!
The adjustable footrest is also quite handy.
The Flyer is a whole stroller system without all the space-sucking ad-ons, which is what I really love about it. It can last up until my boy is ready to walk on his own, and it is a nice-looking stroller. Very stylish, and looks like no other stroller on the street.

The reason for four stars is that it can maybe be a little bit lighter. Also, the wheels don't roll very well on sand or grass, and don't have great shock absorption when walking on cracked city sidewalks. The basket beneath the carriage is not very large either, though it makes sense because the seat is a nice size without being bulky. Lastly, due to all the adjustable options, there's just way too many steps to have this thing close (opening is a breeze though), and it's a two-handed closure. Having said that, when it IS closed correctly, it can stand upright on its own, and doesn't take up too much space.
