Comments about Donkey Duo - Black Base:

I was very hesitant to purchase this stroller. The price was the main thing. I also thought that it would be bulky. After a year of investigating double strollers, I bought the Donkey. I've used a Bugaboo Cameleon for 4 years and was super sad when I needed a double. I did not want to part with the beloved Cameleon. I received the Donkey and I just wish I had ordered it sooner! It is worth every penny and it is way smaller than expected...which is wonderful! It's not that much wider than a Cameleon and fits through small doorways. My kids love it too! I completely disagree with the previous review that stated the Donkey was of lesser quality than the Cameleon. I think that the Donkey exceeds the quality of the Cameleon. If you need a double stroller, go with this one. Bugaboo is such an amazing company with beautiful design!

Comments about Donkey Duo - Black Base:

I first had the Orbit - loved that b/c of the 360 rotation. Then I purchased the Baby Jogger City Select b/c I was pregnant with #2. The Select has a smooth ride and drive and I love that the brake is at the top handle bar BUT it became nuts trying to figure out which child was going to have to sit in the front seat. There is an 18 month difference and my eldest was out on her lonesome in the front - I could barely see or speak to her. Then I put my youngest in the front seat and couldn't attend to her. I finally broke down and bought the Donkey. I should have purchased the donkey first!! It is amazing and wonderful. The only wish is that Bugaboo had the brake at the handlebar. Besides that I couldn't ask for more. Plus I don't have to park it in the garage (we live in a duplex) and unlike the City Select I can bring it up the flight of stairs to our flat. I would never have imagined doing that with the Select. I have two girls and I love interacting with both facing me in the stroller. The Donkey solves that. As well, the seats are super long which accommodates my 36" tall 20 month old. A lifesaver since she seemed a bit cramped lengthwise in the Select. I can't say enough wonderful things about this stroller! It drives like a dream too!

Comments about Donkey Twin - Black Base:

It is a great stroller, very easy to maneuver (can be done with one finger!). The height of the stroller is good as not too low for tall parents.
The extra storage is very useful and allows to access personal effects quickly and without bending all the time.
It seems as easy as a single stroller to use. The option of having two seats is great even if having only one baby (can expand for second kid later, family kid visiting or for co-sharing a nanny).

As I live in NYC, I love the option of this stroller allowing me to shop without carrying much and would not change it. It is bulky and heavy and I would not want to use it if I had to put it in a car everyday.

Comments about Donkey Duo - Black Base:

For the money, I expected the Donkey to be as good as my Bugaboo Chameleon. With two kids under 2 (19 months and a newborn), I had very few choices for a well-built double stroller. I figured since I had already spent $1000+ on my Bugaboo Chameleon and was VERY pleased with the purchase, that I would love the Donkey once I brought home the new baby. Boy was I wrong. The donkey does not have shocks on the two front wheels making the ride a little rough, instead of using the awesome hand brake from the Chameleon, Bugaboo opted for a cheap plastic brake pedal on one of the rear wheels, the seat fabrics feel cheap and thin, and it does not fold up as quickly or as nicely as the Chameleon. Overall, the Donkey is not up to Bugaboo standards in my opinion. I'm not sure I would recommend this stroller. There are few doubke stroller options out there, but it seems that other options would be just as good at a much smaller price tag.
