This is my second Britax Parkway. I think it's great, exactly what you would expect from Britax. Another reviewer posted about the fabric and since its too cold here now to see how it will be in heat, it seems like normal fabric. Much more rugged feeling then my other seat which is the cowmooflage, that fabric is much different.

we purchased this booster for out tall 5 year old. we are very happy with it. we really wanted it to have the latch system. it is easy to install and britax has improved since our car seat. tiny details but shows they are on it. the latch has a place to store if you travel with it. (b4 it flopped around) and the tightening system is much improved. thanks britax for keeping the kiddies safe

Very satisfied with the Britax Parkway SG. We have an SGL for my daugther that stays in my van, but we needed this for vacation where it would be taken in & out of cars frequently. My daughter loves the print & I love the fact that it fits her well, works well in any car I have put it in so far and the secure guard. Bought a second seat for my almost 5 year old for the same trip... first time for him in a booster & I wasn't a wreck. (He's still in a 5 pt in my van.) Material wiped clean easily after a spill and held up well in air cargo travel. They will be used at home for quick in & outs with dad in his truck.

My daughter is 5 years old, this is our first booster seat ever. I had seen the Graco and other brands, and had always used Britax brand for my infant and toddler car safety needs. This booster is taller/bigger/cozier looking to me than the other cheaper brand booster seats. I think it will grow with her for a long time - I can see us using it backless in the distant future, but having the ability to put the back back on for long trips to make it cozier is a plus. For now, she is riding with the back on, of course. The lever in the back of the seat to adjust the height works seamlessly - I'm so excited this thing grows so tall! I was also pleased that the "armrests" were covered with fabric and not just plasticky. The are too short to even be used as armrests, but for us it does not affect the function of the seat at all. It is soo cushy, and the quality is awesome. Love the SecureGaurd for anti-submarining. We have ours adjusted a tad loose, my daughter loves using it and doesn't say it is uncomfortable at all. I figure even if its a tad loose, it is still doing its job. The seat "recline" is adjustable too, so if you are like me and looked at the picture and thought "gee, the back angle of that seat sure does look uncomfortable!" - it's not, you can adjust it to the angle of your car's seat. This seat is also narrow - I can see this being helpful in people how want to fit 3 across. Not only is the bottom narrow, but the lumbar wings and head rest are not obnoxiously big, but obviously are there to provide further support and side protection if needed. Hope this review helps someone sitting on the fence - the price of this seat is great! One last thing - the price is lower on this seat than the seats with the latch systems. I debated and debated about this, and am glad I just went for this seat (the fabric pattern is SO nice). The way we use it with the seat belt, the seat belt is always engaged in the shoulder part even when our daughter is out of the seat. The argument for the latch systems in boosters is that a booster can become a projectile if a child is not in it when your car crashes or even stops fast. Our booster seems to stay put when our daughter gets in and out of it, and because the belt is always in the shoulder loop, I don't see this being a problem. We'll save our money and buckle it in if it is a worry for us, which currently it isn't.
